Jets was called to fix three problems, one remove and reinstall a water heater (this was done properly), two, fix toilet leak (again fix properly) three install repair kit to outside ******* faucet (this was not done properly). On ******* faucet he did not install the whole kit, he left out three "O" rings, faucet worked one time then leaked again and would not shut off. Called for it to be fixed almost a week later same repair man shows up and I give him the three "O" rings to repair faucet. I had to leave for doctor's *********** and my neighbor watched the repair. The repair man broke to locking hole that a pad lock goes on by placing the pipe wrench too high up on the faucet and breaking this (no big deal) but he bent the charging rod inside the faucet and said to my neighbor "Hey this rod is bent" my neighbor said "Yea I saw you bend it forcing it into the holding shaft. When I got home my wife told me he charged us $180 since I had not used parts JET purchased. This is a lye he did not install all the rings, and this caused it to not work properly.Business response

I have discussed this work and complaint with the plumbing manager, onsite service tech. We have decided to refund the homeowners money in good faith, ($180) but cannot accept responsibility for any damage or mishandling of the repair. The yard hydrant repaired was done so properly, and following the neighbors attempt to repair the unit himself. *********** tech worked diligently to properly replace the needed seal at the bottom of the rod, but that rod was bent prior to his work.
The remaining ******* were not needed for the handle as there was not issue with that component. When we completed the job, the owner was invoiced equal to or less than the amount of labor that was actually worked, and the hydrant was working properly.We are sending a check to the owner next week.
