purchased a $20,000 2019 *** ******* on 04/03/25. Two days after the purchase the vehicle began to show warnings lights on the dash as well as the trunk not opening at all. I have made several attempts to contact the dealership since 04/05/25, I also have visited the dealership in person and they continuously respond with that they don't have availability at this time to fix it as its not urgent. I feel they are purposely doing this to push it off until my warranty has expired in a few weeks so that I will have to pay all repairs out of pocket. I have documented all calls and texts between myself and the sales and service managers as well as documentation for warranty and purchase. I am looking for assistance to get the vehicle repaired at the dealerships cost per my warranty agreement.Business Response

Just spoke to Nick and he said that the customer was told to come in without an appointment and was told by the sales department that she would get a loaner. The service department was not made aware of this being told to the customer. We have a limited supply of loaners and they are scheduled by the service department. We are waiting for a few to come back in and then we can call her and get her in to get the vehicle looked at and repaired. Hoping to have a loaner freed up for her by the end of the week or early next week.If you need anything else please feel free to email me at *****************************.Customer Answer

Writing in response to your email about ***** *********. As far as the service end of it the vehicle has had some issues and each one was corrected. The vehicle was always delivered back and most of the time picked up. We have gotten the repairs covered for the customer. As far as the tick noise goes we replaced cams and lifters and drove the vehicle. The vehicle does have a slight tick after the repair. No lights have come on and vehicle has no loss of power. The injectors on this vehicle are very noisy. I had the vehicle picked up from the customer and brought back in. There is a tech looking into it and seeing if there anything going on. As far as the not being able to trade in, I am not aware of the conversations the customer has had with the sales department and what was said to them. That maybe something you would have to discuss with them. Let me know if you need anything else or if I can be of further assistance. We traded a lease in to Armory Garage and leased another vehicle. We then received a bill from the previous leasing company for the next months payment. We called the leasing company and they said we had to make the remaining car payments and an early termination fee. **** Armory never explained any of this. I went to the dealer and spoke to Gm and totally said they made a mistake. They could have rolled the remaining payments into the new loan. We were never made aware of this. The hm asked us to fax in all paperwork and bills we received from ********* Capital. They paid the early termination(so they admitted fault) but want me to pay 2 more months of car payments when I traded the car the car in September. They know they were at fault and now are not taking care of the situation. Looking for a little help.Business Response

Following a routine oil change and tire rotation, there was a noticeable grinding/shaking upon acceleration/slowing. This had not been happening prior to the service. After waiting a few days to see if the issue persisted, I began trying to contact the service department. I began by leaving 2 messages, unanswered. I finally was able to reach a service rep, who told me they would call me to confirm appointment that day. After several days, I called back only to have to restart the process. After once again calling to resolve the issue and make an appointment, I was told I would be called with a confirmation, which I never got. I reached out the service chat service, who had no record of the appointments being scheduled. I once again asked for a call back, which never came. I followed with an e-mail, and another chat session, to which I have still not received a call back.Business Response

I had also addressed to them that the breaks were making a rubbing sound and that when you press the gas petal it would go past 4rpms before shifting into gears on 5/20/24 when they had ??? gotten my vehicle in they did an oil change and told me that the breaks were at ??? and they couldn't find an issue with shifting.Business Response

This car is under a factory and extended warranty with ***, because of that we are unable to to preform the work our self as we are a **** dealership. Before receiving this notice I did speak to Theresa, She told me the warranty company will only cover 10 days of rental. When I explained to her that I can not make them give her a car for longer (we are a different brand dealer and not affiliated with the *** dealer) she demanded we give her a car off the lot, which we can not do. I am only able to operate within the guidelines of the warranty and can not extend or provide any additional car nor pay of a rental she wants as it is not covered under her contact for any longer coverage . Also during the phone call she was yelling / swearing at me and threaten my job if I do not give her a car, Even as the Service manager we do not tolerate anybody swearing and threatening any employees.
As she stated in her complaint Armory Paid *** to do testing and engine cleaning that was not covered under warranty to confirm a warranty engine replacement is needed. The engine is covered with no expense to the customer from ***.
Note: This car is not a certified pre owed as we can not certified a non **** ***** *** PRODUCT. This was a regular used car that did go through our Used car inspection and made all necessary repairs as we do with all of our used cars.Initial Complaint

Good morning. This was dealt with by an advisor that is no longer here and basically screwed us over as well as many customers. I have been chasing a lot of these down and trying to get the customers taken care of.I can submit this over to ********** for approval once I have pics of corrosion and estimate. unfortunately we may have to have the customer come back in for photos and send them to get an estimate as this particular advisor did not save photos or estimates in many cases. More than willing to help this customer out. We will look into this and reach out to customer.Initial Complaint

So about two weeks ago, I drop my 2017 **** ******** off to Armory Chrysler **** ***** *** **** of Albany with issues of Overheating. I was told a couple days after I drop my **** off that I needed a new radiator that my axel seals were gone or broken or whatever the case may be that I needed all four tires sensors because I had no tire sensors among other issues that eventually totaled out to be almost 6 grand, about three days ago Ray, the mechanic working on my vehicle had called me and told me that everything was OK. The car was great and that I can come pick it up. I picked the **** up three days ago and paid almost 6 grand just to come that my **** is still overheating. The issue clearly was not resolved. my **** was driving perfectly fine steering wise and now I've almost gotten into two accidents because the alignments is off and the wheel keeps dragging in different directions instead of completely going straight, so I don't know how this issue can be resolved, but I have called and they hang up on me as soon as they realize who they are speaking to.Business Response

I bought a 2011 *** ****** on May 10th 2024 a day after I got home a few friends of mine noticed a rot hole in the frame I contacted the salesman they said it was fine to pass inspection. The rot hole has gotten bigger I have tried to contact the dealer on numerous occasions with not one calling me back my fear is I have a 4 year loan on the truck and don't want to have it fail inspection, I also think it's the dealers responsibility to fix the issue or give me a letter stating that the hole in the **** will not stop it from passing further inspections.Business Response

I have reviewed the concern raised by this customer. The truck passed all safety and emissions
requirements from the NYS DMV to be safe for the road. We spoke to the customer when he contacted
us after taking delivery and confirmed that the truck did pass NYS safety and emissions inspection.
This customer did reach out again, and we've made several attempts to return his call and we've been
unable to speak to him even after leaving a voice message. The fact remains that the truck did pass
inspection. Just like with any vehicle on the road, we cannot guarantee that it will pass inspection in
future years as there are many factors that will affect any car's ability to pass inspection outside of our
control, including how the customer maintains their vehicle.
Thank you,

Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below. That is an inspection report that all NYS inspected vehicles receive when passing all safety and emissions however, my truck has a HOLE in the frame under the passenger side cab mount. I wanted in writing that with the hole in the frame it passes NYS safety inspection. And with the hole in my frame as long as I keep up with all other maintenance that hole will not fail me from further NYS inspections. That's what I want in writing. I purchased a vehicle in June of 2023 and also purchased an extended warranty at that time from Armory Auto in Albany, NY. About a month ago I called my sales person and made him aware I have not received any documents in regard to the warranty I purchased and what the details were of the warrant so I could know what was covered, he told me I should have received something in the mail after I purchased the vehicle. I told him I never received it and that I would like him to have it sent to me again. I still have not received anything in the mail about my warranty. I have been trying to get in contact with Armory Auto again this past week, I have left my sales person voice messages and have called requesting to speak with the finance department or to speak with a manager since I cannot get a person on the phone and I still have not spoken with a person. I have recently sold the vehicle I purchased from Armory and need to request a cancelation and a refund for the extended warranty I purchased when I purchased the vehicle. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed in the lack of service I have received from Armory Auto. There were many things that the sales person should have disclosed to me at the time of the sale which again I am very frustrated about. He told me he needed me to do a survey after he sold me the vehicle and that I should give him 5 stars, I did not do the survey as I was not happy with him and I believe that is part of the reason why he is not calling me back and has not mailed the warranty to me. At this time I would just like the business to call me back in order to start the process to receive my refund for the warranty.Business Response
