We made reservations during Pirate's Weekend and were beyond excited to try the food. We arrived on time and were promptly seated; however, throughout the night the service was increasingly lagging and forgetful (with drinks, and orders.) This wasn't initially a problem until we all received rice side dishes that we didn't order because they had run out of potatoes... and not told us at all. When we inquired about other sides, we were told some were out for the night, and it wasn't until one of our guest's orders came incorrect that we finally decided to ask for management. Instead of taking responsibility or even showing respect to a paying customer, I was met with an extremely aggressive chef with an attitude, who raised his voice to me, and alluded that we only wanted money off the bill. He also alluded that we wanted split checks, which we never said. I paid the bill in full. He took no responsibility until multiple people started speaking up at the table and even when he did, we were met with backhanded apologies and excuses. I felt extremely uncomfortable and wanted to leave immediately. In all, the food was ok, not with the price, and definitely not worth having extremely dry rice as a side option. The bread is top-tier, though. I would go anywhere else than here when in Alexandria Bay. Posting this cautiously since the owner has harassed people who left poor reviews on other platforms.
