      On August 6,2023 at approximately 5:30. I was in the Prime Wine store located on 3900 Maple Rd, Amherst NY 14215. I approached the cashier to purchase my item. She stepped back to observe me and then asked me for my ID. In which I provided for her right away. After providing my ID to the cashier who was later identify as Funzilla. She began speak out loudly my private and personal information, such as my birthday, full name, and address. Then she began telling the other cashier that I was born in the 80s. Funzilla started discussing my info with the other cashier next to her as she was cashing me out. There were also other customers that were in line. I asked to speak to her manger and she asked me why. I explained to her that you loudly read out my personal info for everyone around to hear and began having a conversation with the other cashier about me as she was cashing me out. She then called the manager Kathy over , I asked to speak to her in the hallway. I told Kathy how Funzilla had humiliated me in front of the other customer and other cashier's by reading out loudly my full name, birthday date, and address. Although, Kathy apologize for Funzilla's actions but Funzilla never apologized. In any event I have shopped in this store on many occasions and I have always provided my ID whenever asked. I have never experienced any unprofessional behavior before August 6th with a employee handling my private and personal information.

      We apologize for the way in which this proofing was done. It was not intentional, and it deviated from our standard policy. We have reviewed our proofing policy with Fonzella and all cashiers. That is that Proofing should be done in a discreet way that does not reveal personal information with anyone. If there are any questions regarding ID, they have been reminded that they should call a manager for assistance.
