    I purchased two exterior doors and DL1200 locks from a local vendor. One of the locks failed during the warranty period. Tech support verified that it was a warranty failure and assigned case number #******. They first instructed me to have a locksmith replace the faulty unit, and to have the locksmith seek reimbursement. However, my locksmith would not do the work without immediate payment, so I had to buy a new lock out-of-pocket. Next, customer service told me to ship the defective lock back to the seller, which I did on 01/23/2023. However, I've been unable to get a replacement or refund. I E-mailed the company several times with no response. I then E-mailed an executive, *****************************, on June 15th. ****** determined that my local vendor is not on their approved vendor list. How was I supposed to know? When I buy a high-end lock from **************, I naturally expect it to be covered by the product warranty. The bottom line is that their product failed within the warranty period and the company has done nothing to replace or refund it.
