  My dad took his car back to **** the mechanic and i believe owner because he's the only one that seems to speak English in the shop. There was something was leaking and we just had **** fix something that was leaking. **** told my dad it wasn't what he fixed it was something else so my dad said to fix it. **** texted me the next day to say what it was and he found other things to fix and the cost to fix. He said he wouldn't start without a cash down payment so we agreed to $600 in cash. I bring it to him later that day and he says not only front end need fixing but back ends too but they're good for now. I told him I wanted to get brand new tires for my dad for Christmas but you keep finding issues that I don't think I can. He replied I get and install tires I can do that if you want. I figured this was best time to surprise my dad so I said fine but no to back ends. Get home and my mom says get the front and back done so I called the guy and he said he'll call tomorrow with new price. He did and said I can come in to get the car. I show up with my dad. He says I didn't get to install the tires but bring in tomorrow and I'll install them I have the tires here. Do you want me to charge the tires now or tomorrow and now that way I don't have to give my dad the card and doesn't have to wait for me to get out from work. He swipes card gives me receipt to sign I said why it says $3807...u said my balance is $2,700.. oh I'm sorry I forgot to deduct the $600 sign this and then I can refund the $600 after signing he gives me the printout of the service minus the $600 showing the total charge should've been $3061 .47 and says since we just put it through I can't refund I have to wait until it hits so when you come tomorrow we can do this then he says the guy couldn't bring the tires today because of jewish holiday and has to get home. To this day he hasn't refunded my $600, $146.46 overcharged and $765 for tires and labor. Business name don't match sign and my credit card

  At this time, I have not been contacted by the mechanic **** from Astoria Blvd Gas Inc. regarding complaint ID ********. So I contacted my credit card and they credit my card the $1,511.46 and now I have to wait 2 months while the credit card company investigates and sees if the mechanic company will responds.
