Purchase a car with them and paid $700. For registration and new plates .. couple days later I got a message that I had to pay an additional $300 for registration. I went to the contract and stated I already paid $700 and my state registration is only about $100 .. then I head crickets.. then I went to go pick up my plates and was told to return my old plates .. after waiting for 30 mins asking where is my plates I was told oh use your old plates..I said no I was supposed to get new plates thats what I pay for and then all the lies started about I was never to get new plates. I have text conversation between me and the same person about picking up new plates even to the second I was outside and then she starts lying acting oblivious even with the text messages I told her I needed a new plates for safety reasons and she said just go get new ones the dmv ..ask for refund for my 700 paid for registration and plates and was ignored now I have no choice to precede to small claimsBusiness response

Attached find ** ************************* of sale which states $390.00 License & Title fee was charged for reregistration, new plates would have cost additional $12000, totalling $510.00. I believe the confusion stems from the additional charges of $37..00 for inspection & $175.00 for dealer fee. I'm not sure of the interaction between ***************** and dealership associate she mentions in her complaint as I would need the name of the person she communicated with to understand the interaction. Additionally. I don't see any monies owed to the dealership. If there are any further questions please feel free to reply to this response.
Sorry for the confusion
Have a nice day!

I went to Lexus of Queens on August 27th at around 4pm to take over my lease. My buy out was $26,013.12, i walked out of there with a loan of $33,972.63 No explanations whatsoever. The finance guy was in a rush and just gave me the envelop without telling me anything.I called him on Monday, he was on vacation I called him on Tuesday, he said there was warranty for $2695 plus taxes, which I did not agree to nor did I have to get it, He said he will take that off and a check with be send to me. And he gave me very vague answers over the phone about the other charges. Today i received the $2695 refund, but there was never tax involved. I demand an answer to all the charges being made to the loan, listing everything. This is tax fraud if he said there were taxes involved.I understand there is fees involved, but it's a little unfair with $2,500 unexplainable fees. If this is dealers profit, it is not right! . totally scamBusiness response

** ***********;complaint is untrue. I have attached a detailed comprehensive breakdown of her transaction. Tax is charged on the lease residual value when vehicle is purchased at lease termination. During life of lease tax is paid on monthly lease payments, tax was never paid on full retail sale price. She has since cancelled the warranty and been reimbursed the sale price of the vehicle and has been in contact with the salesperson. We find that this matter has been resolved.Initial Complaint

Went to buy a car it was advertised online for one price when I got there I was I told I had to pay more to get it certified. After driving the car in the 1st rainy day the parking sensor went off. The next day I also noticed the rear windshield fluid was not working. I call my sales rep my call was not returned. The next week when my registration came in from the dealer it was not legible. I took a trip into the dealer they gave me an appointment for the following week. They say my certified car that I had since 7/12 and now its 8/1 has a rats nest problem caused certain lines and sensors to be broken. I advised them I do not have a rodent trbl where I live and the car a(Lexus) which I traded in for this car did not have any broken line trbl do to rodents and both cars park in the same place. I advised them that they never checked the car properly before selling it. And no rodent can cause all $3000 in damage in that short of time. Not to mention the service manager sees a service code in their system for that car when they ran diagnostic when I picked the car up. I bought a certified car that was not properly checked and not even a month later the dealer is trying to stick me with a $3000 ****Business response

I bought out my lease from Lexus. My buyout price was $30,756.12. When I got my new statement from ******* it says my buyout is $36,600 and some change. I called ******* and they said they have nothing to do with that contract, to call Lexus. So I did. I spoke to the financial manager by the name ***** and which he was the one that did that contract. He said they charged me a fee to buyout the car. My buyout contract was $30,756.12. Where did $6500 come from. He said the sales person shouldve told me there was a fee to buyout the car. They isnt any wording in any contract that states that. I call Lexus cooperate office and they said yes that fee shouldve never been charged but theres nothing they can do because the Lexus dealer ship is it own owner. Basically they make up there own rules as for what I understood. Please I have hit a ***** wall with this issue. It means my car is worth less and my new payments went up by $40 a month. Please help me. Thankyou in advance.Business response

On 4/27/22 I took my car to this Dealership LEXUS OF QUEENS because my car had an electrical issue that caused the vehicle not to start. They called me 2 days later to tell me that they repaired the problem and that can pick up my car. So I go and pick up my car and drove off. Very next day car wouldn't start, same issue that I took it there for. I had to pay a flatbed to drop off the car again. I complained that why did they charge me $1560 and the problem still occurs, they proceed to say that I did something to my car and that's why it happened. Car was there for a week after that and they start saying I need to replace other stuff just to make more money off me. Long story short I asked for a full refund and they said no. I said so you Charge me $1560 and never fixed the problem and you are not refunding me. Will be going to COURT for sure. All they did was tape a wire back together and reprogram ECU. This place rips people off. But ill handle this in court.Business response

please be advised that *************,Owner of a repair shop attempted to make repairs to this 2008 vehicle prior to bringing vehicle to us as he couldn't find the issues , he Cut some wires attempting to fix a no start issue with the vehicle.
We received the vehicle on 4/25/2022, proposed an estimate to Diagnose and repair what we identified as a failure. He agreed to the price. We diagnosed and found faults for fuel pressure sensor open circuit , we found the wiring cut and proposed to repair the wiring .Road tested the vehicle, cleared the faults and it was fine. He picked up the vehicle and returned the very next day with the same issue. The wiring he had cut was for a fuel pressure sensor. We checked the issue again and found identical faults to the system as we found the first visit. He declined further work on the vehicle and was going to order the parts and fix it himself.
Our Service Director, Ertan spoke to the customer in person and tried to come to a reasonable solution. He feels he was charged for something that didnt repair his vehicle. Due to the age of the vehicle it sometimes is difficult to detect the exact issue causing the problem. As a goodwill gesture we are willing to split the cost of the repair, crediting $780.00. Please respond if this is acceptable.Regards
