After reading the bad reviews about Martin and getting the same treatment I wonder how does he get anymore than a one star? He is rude and full of excuses. A crook in my opinion and all that's wrong with business today. He tells you week to ten days then 89 days later when you start inquiring as to where your sail is he gets angry. Do your self a favor. Read the negitive reviews. They would not go to the trouble to discribe the hell they went thru. If he would have delivered.

I had a terrible experience with Somerset Sails that I would like to share. In February 2023, I ordered a sail from Martin, who promised to deliver it to my home in Canada. However, when the sail was completed, Martin changed his mind and decided to send it to a UPS store near the Canadian border. Unfortunately, due to my physical condition, I am unable to drive, and after I explained this to Martin, he decided to cancel my order. I tried to be constructive, fuond a driver and offered to pick up the sail from his place in Barker, but Martin responded rudely saying, "I think it is silly to drive all the way to Barker, 250 miles, then drive back 250 miles. Forget it. Please, no more email." I found his response offensive and unprofessional, and I want the sailing community to know about my experience. It appears that Somerset Sails has poor customer service, and I do not believe anyone deserves to be treated in this manner.
