    We had a slow drain and our toilet was not flushing very well. I called A-1 to come out but had to wait four days. When they did come out their machine/snake got stuck in our line. I was told that they would call a plumber the next day to come out and pull the machine out. I called A-1 at 10:00 a.m. and was told that I was supposed to call the plumber (I didn't even know WHAT plumber to call) and that the customer pays to have their stuck machine pulled out. I didn't agree with that so the new owner said, we'll cover that for you if you agree to have us come out and run a camera (for $230) down there to see what is going on. He said that the previous owner used to charge the customer so he thought that was just the way it worked. I learned later that the previous owner was his dad.... I'm not positive that is true. They pulled the machine out and then were supposed to call to schedule the camera. When he did call, he said his camera wasn't available for at least two days. Then, he called again and said that the camera was not fixable and that a new camera wouldn't be here until the 3rd week of February. I said, no, I can't wait that long, I'm calling someone else. I called ******** out of ******** and they came the next day, worked on it for 2 1/2 hours and the problem was solved. ****** said they charge $169 to run the camera but didn't do that because the line was backed up with fluid. So they just ran a snake out and removed a lot of roots. ***** from A-1 wanted to know who I called and what they did because he was "curious." I told him what they did and he was glad they got it taken care of for me. But, did I send you a **** for the service call? No, they hadn't. I got a **** for $139 for the first tech to come out (who was very nice and apologetic about the machine getting stuck. I also got a **** for $160 for the owner to come out twice, once to look at my drain and his stuck machine and once to come out and pick up the plumber's machine after they had lef
