My roof was replaced approximately 2.5 years ago. Since the completion of the roof there has always been a slight leak. They came once to inspect it and supposedly fixed it. Whatever was done did not fix the problem, the leak comes through the soffits and has now damaged the walls on the second floor and the wood floor on the main floor. I reached out to an outside roofer to repair the problem but after they saw the roof was fair new and identified the problem being the skylight, they suggested I go back to the company for the repair. I've called several times and the only time I actually spoke to someone is if I call from a different phone number. The first time I spoke to someone they took my information and "made note" of the problem and said they would call with a date to come out. It never happened. The second time I spoke to someone I was given the phone number to the owner only to find out the number is out of service. I repeated the number to the man so I know it should have been correct. I've left several messages with absolutely no response. In the meantime I'm using storage bins and garbage cans to catch water whenever it rains.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:[I was never contacted that someone was coming to my place of business to inspect and/or repair any part of my roof. I have one tenant that works from home, and she said she did not hear any movement on the roof, nor did she see activity outside of her window. As show in the photo taken December 29th, water is still coming into my building. I would like to be contacted before someone is going to access my building and I would like to receive before and after photos of work performed. Since the leak is still ongoing, i do not consider this job complete nor performed to my satisfaction. I would welcome communication with the owner at ********************** to rectify this matter once and for all.]

december 12 2022 i hire patriot home remodeling *** to put on a brand new roof on my property in st albans Queens , the job wasnt not done to my satisfaction im currently paying 209 a month on a ****** loan from goodleap renovation loan .that i had relief to patriot homes remodeling *** december ************************************************************************************************************************ fact it look like the old roof the new shingles are coming off roof. the front is loose and undone.in the same condition as the old roof was in i tried reaching out to patriot home over the pass 6 months. i left texts and calls and messages on company phone and one of the bussiness owner,s of patriot home cell phone. i got nothing but promises at first then 2 month ago it just stopped im not even getting that to this very day. my roof is till in terrible shape and they didnt give me a warranty or nothing on new roof. but what i didnt know till i went on they website and checked out some of reviews is that the company is not license at all . according to the reviews and compliants i see on they own website from other unsatisfy customers such as myself which i should have check out before i hire them for the project , im seeking reimbursement of a unfinished roof or it to replace properly sense they was already paid for job or project thanksBusiness Response

Patriot Home Remodeling Installed 3 Windows on my house on Thursday August 3 2022. The bay window they installed is leaking in between the seems when it rains which is has started to damage the bottom of the window frame. I have reached out to the main contact also the owner of the company Wednesday November 30th. He said he would send the info to the repair office. I tried contacting him 3 days later. The three numbers listed would not answer my or respond to my texts.Business Response

I entered into contract with Patriot Home Remodeling in March 2022. They were supposed to change my siding with some brick accent. We agreed on four payments installments and I have already made three payments and the last one is at completion of the project. The project was supposed to last a period of one to two weeks. It's now June , I am still waiting for them to complete the brick accent and no one from the company is picking up my call or offering me an explanation.. I offered to buy the sill myself at a local ***** supply store who has them in stock again no one picked up my call or offer me an explanation. It's been an uphill battle since they started the job. They send a couple of day laborers with no explanation as to what was agreed upon on the contract. None of the supervisor visited the job site to ensure what was agreed upon was being executed. Bricks trash and a bunch of buckets with hardened cements are left all over my front yard , the lights fixtures that was removed from the house are still not back on. I am tired of waiting. I want them to finish the project asap or release the contract so I can hire another company to finish the project. I spent Easter Sunday, Mother's day , my 50th birthday, in a construction zone. Father's day is around the corner, my child is graduating high school and I can't even have a small barbecue.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:In response to the owner ***********, it was never part of our agreement for me to get materials for the job. I am not a construction worker/contractor I wouldn't know what needed to do the job. I explained to ****** what I wanted, I showed him pictures and we came up to an agreement/price which included both labor and materials. At the end, I volunteered to get the sill myself because the job was being done the wrong way. And, your company keeps stalling I wanted the job to finish as soon as possible. If you wanted me to get the materials why no one from your company contacted me to let me know? Why every time I call no one ever pick up my calls? Why no one ever return my calls? Why no one from the company came to the house to see what was done? What is being done? and what needed to be done despite my numerous calls? At one point I attempted to get the sill a measurement of 3 inches by 2 was given to me. The sale person said I needed to verify with my contractor prior buying the sill unfortunately, no one from your company pick up my call.You cut all communications. I didn't know who to turn to and this is one of the reasons why I contacted the BBB. It was never ever communicated to me in any way or forms that you were waiting for materials. Today is Thursday I will get the sill over the weekend. I will send a text message confirming that it has been delivered.

I hired you to do a job, instead of sitting around for someone to clean up your mess, why you don't just send your workers to complete the job. Just finish what you started. No one wants to clean up after you. ******* did the walk-through almost a month ago and I didn't hear from you since. I showed him the amateur work that your guys did, he should have debrief to you. Please send someone to fix the gaps, the loose brick, the trim, the light fixtures gutters and you can get the money so we both can move on with our lives. Just because I am *****, you guys think I am stupid, you think you can come and **** all over my house and I wouldn't have noticed. Lakeview is predominantly *****s I bet you you wouldn't have tried this in Garden City. Last payment is upon completion of the job. I already spent so much time, energy and money trying to fix your mistakes.....no more. You come and fix the problem, finish the job and you will get your money as per contract.
