  We hired Lumeg Construction in May 2023. He provided us contracts for outdoor siding and repair of the plywood under the preexisting shingles with framing of preexisting windows. Part of the contract stated he was to replace 2 upper windows and 2 lower windows. Provide new shed door, install exterior front door and paint garage doors and replace suffice and gutters and fuse box. The total cost was 35k with 15k deposit. At 75% completed he wanted an additional 10k. He was provided with all that he asked. When it was time to pay the people he hired for the gutters he begged us to give him 5k from the remaining balance that was owed to him at the end of the job. Although we were very frustrated we still provided what he asked. The second contract was to remove preexisting deck and replace with a composite deck. For a total price of 17k and he wanted 12k upfront. Again that was provided to him. Throughout the project he kept insisting we needed a new patio and so we caved in and gave him ***** for that paid in full. 3 months later he partially completed all projects. The fuse box was done incorrectly. We had a master electrician come take a look at it and told us there was no ground wire. In addition he never marked each fuse in the box and he left an open hole in the garage. He unhooked a power supply that runs into our yard and never put it back. He left the deck unfinished. Used wood instead of composite as I asked for. We had another contractor come in to tell us that he used old wood and nails and the deck was not bolted to the house. We never received any of the windows. The front exterior door was installed improperly and required an additional 500 to hire someone else to fix it. He never completed that as well. He didnt finish framing the windows that he started and he painted shut my back door.
