Unfortunately, 20 pound laundry bag full of clean clothes was given to the incorrect customer, someone who was not me nor knows me.The employees admitted to their mistake & went as far as showing me camera footage of one of *****'s Laundromat employees.*****'s Laundromat asked me for the opportunity to wait & see if the woman would come back with the clothes - after a week, she did not. When contacting the owner, he obscenely texted me "So, the irresponsible b**** hasn't showed up & I will have to make compensation as promised...". I informed the owner that most of the items that were in the 20 pound laundry bag were: workout clothing, socks, and my wife's undergarments - to which he agreed. I also emphasized that more than 75% of the clothing lost was **** branded clothing. If you are up to date with market trends you will know that most of ****'s clothing for men retails to $60 & up. I explained this to the owner & informed him that the bag of clothes that was lost was worth $1,500. The owner agreed that I would have to buy the items as new, but clarified that he was compensating me for the items fair value, not to purchase them new. He then proceeded to offer me $500 got the clothes that his business incorrectly gave to someone else.It is obvious that $500 is not fair value, & I explained this to the owner & instead of responding or trying to see my point of view as the customer who trusted his business, he advised me to "ask around" "most would say $500 is good enough". So, since the owner not only lacks the competency to efficiently run a business, he cannot communicate in a professional manner, he does not provide any type of customer service to his clients & has no integrity. I thought I'd shed light on his business practices to give current & future customers a fair warning.Do not use their drop-off services as you run the risk of your belongings being lost/given to someone else, & you will not be compensated to replace them as new or even at fair value
