Horrible company to work with. Currently, mom released from nursing home Dec 18th, 2024 and now home as I'm the CDPAP. I can't get them to reinstate her even though they have had all the required documents as of Dec 18. Then they wanted more specific information during the Christmas holiday when everybody was closed!! I got that for them Dec 31st. I've called them and emailed multiple times. They keep ignoring me. What government agency can I report them too?Review from Kimberly Z

This is a terrible company to work with. They pretend to be helpful at first but after a few weeks they tend to leave cases dead in the water no communication, no movement, no responses, no call backs, nothing. They have a script of questions that they ask patients and caregivers many times but they don't even put those in the system despite being asked and answered several times by multiple parties. I heard good things about this company before signing up with them. But I truly regret ever contacting this company to take care of my situation. After my experience, I would not recommend this company to anyone. Stay as far away as you canReview from Xiao L

It’s now been 2.5 months, the paperwork is still sitting at the nurse desk to be processed. Called them so many times and they kept saying you just have to wait. Can’t get any help!Review from Tara S

I am a caregiver and keep having issues with pay and hours! We are now reduced for the 3rd time down to 11hours and 15min when we originally started out in the beginning with 28hours. And I only make $12.50. The economy has not gotten better including gas and this is barely enough gas money to take my mom to her dr’s appointments that she has a few every week and I am a mom of two children. This money is alway gone in about 2 days! This is getting outrageous!Review from Stephanie T

One last thing I forgot to add in my previous review, is that FreedomCare truly does strive to keep both their caregivers and also, their patients happy and are always willing to help both my mother and I with anything that is needed!Review from Eliott C

INCOMPETENT! Their main number is a general number transfer you talk to someone remote (home). There many dept is the same general remote from home. So many people and not one person knows what there job entails. Caregiver for my mother on the payroll. Understandably when she in a nursing home, Off the pay roll, Understandable; however when discharged and back under caregiver. A simple phone call to the patient, caregiver and insurance confirmation to reinstate payroll took over 3 months. When first gone through exact scenario was resolved in 1 to 3 days with back pay. But 3 months of incompetence with no back pay. This occurred 3x times patient discharge and caregiver not paid. It's more of a scam have a love one take care of the patient, don't pay em. Then there the so called coordinators. Had one literally threaten me as if they were paying my salary out of pocket. When asking or explaining, no matter the proof you have it like talking to walls. To many dam people and no one can do anything but keep transferring from one depth to another. One complication after another.Review from Thea N

Hi Thea!
Thanks for the amazing feedback! Glad to hear things are working well for you.To answer your question, yes. You would need to validate the clocking in and clocking out of the caregiver for ******** required compliance to ensure the services were being rendered. This helps decrease potential fraud that could occur on cases we service.
Thanks again for being part of FreedomCare!

Worst company I ever dealt with. We needed home care for my parents and selected them to pay our caregivers. Services started 12/1/23 and ended 1/1/24. For the one month we used them there was nothing but problems. My parents died 3 days apart and we were trying to get our caregivers paid for the services they provided prior to their death and there was constant issues. Every time you call you get a different person who is more clueless than the last person. While trying to plan my parents funeral we were constantly getting calls from Freedom Care stating there were issues with getting our workers paid. I would have to repeat the same information every time I spoke wit them. My mother died 12/29 and my father 1/1 and still trying to get it resolved. This company is nothing but scam. My parents health plan even were disgusted with them because they would also submit the same information time and time and still not resolved. They take money from the plan to pay workers but they don't pay the workers. They keep it to pay their incompetent workers. Every time you speak wit them it says "your call is on a recorded line" but yet nobody seems to go back to listen to those calls to know what was discussed and information isn't fully documented. I work for a Fortune 500 insurance company whom if we had EE's like them, they would be broke! Never again would I deal with Freedom Care and I will continue to express how awful they are to everyone. How could the *** sleep at night knowing how their EE's are not giving world class customer service. since my parents death, I've had so much stress because of Freedom Care.Review from Eli I

False statement and benefits, no communication, the worse assessment program for patients. They are rude, quick to cut your benefits off without letting you know. I been working here for a year, they decided to cut my medical benefits, flex allowance without letting me know, 3 months later when I had piles of doctors bills. I emailed 11 times is 3 weeks and to this day no answer. I am yet to speak to anyone even when I repeatedly sated I was seeking legal representation. Vey bad and upsetting. They reduce my vision allowance from $400 to $100 and cancelled GYM reimbursement. Just found out 3 months later as well. No way to treat employees. Sorry but very unhappy NOT RECOMENDABLE AT ALL.
