I was doing a move at a time of great life change and not only was ****** incredibly helpful setting up the move but my movers the day of were wonderful, fast & endlessly patient while I was a wreck. I could not have asked for more and will use them for any move I can in the future.

My godfather recommended them after using their help for his move to ***********, saying they offered the best balance of reliability and price. I had a last-minute move from ****** to ******** and reached out just a day before. They got back to me right away, scheduled everything fast, and the final cost turned out to be even lower than the estimate. Highly recommend!Shleppers Moving & Storage

A scam!! I was quoted a price for my move from New York to Delaware. I had a zoom meeting and went over the items I was taking. I realized I had more to pack and therefore called and requested a second zoom meeting to add additional items. A new quote was provided whichever I agreed to. On the day of the move the movers told me that the truck was too small for my move and that the cushioning ( they did) was not accounted for in determining the size truck I needed; and I would need a second truck for the remaining items. I was then charged an additional 2k for the second truck. I called to appeal this charge and was told that if I appealed it the movers would not be able to take it and it would be left in New York. I was told to pay the 2k and then later appeal it. I’ve appealed it twice and have spoken to the manager several times where I was told that someone would call me back. No one ever calls me back. I completed the forms they requested of me with damages done and several dishes broken and also added this issue on the form with no response. I again left messages (several) with Amy and no response. At this point I feel this is a scam. Do not use this moving company. Bait and switch!Shleppers Moving & Storage

I received a call from your customer service ***resentativeFINALLY! I only left like 6 voice mails. I also received an offer of $150! Thats a joke! Your customer service *** explained that my lawn furniture needed another truck and therefore I had to pay for the second truck. That lawn furniture was already listed on the itemized list! Its not my fault that the wrong size truck was sent. I should not have had to pay 2k for your mistake. Plus your movers explained to me that this is not the first time this happens because the padding of the furniture is not taken into consideration when deciding truck size. Shleppers just moved me from *** to *****. The entire experience was fantastic. I got quotes from 4 different companies. Shleppers was not the cheapest and definitely not the most expensive but they were fair. After speaking with *****, Relocation Consultant, I felt most comfortable moving forward with Shleppers. Since this was my first big move he took his time to help me understand the process in detail, made himself available to answer follow up questions and put my mind at ease. The move went smoothly, as scheduled, with no extra fees or last-minute changes and everything was delivered in the same condition as they picked it up. Movers on both end of this relocation were considerate, polite and efficient. I highly recommend Shleppers for any long distant move.Shleppers Moving & Storage

This is our first time working with them and I was very impressed. The workers were very efficient and careful when handling our stuff. I liked that they were very calm throughout. It was a very pleasant experience. Only thing is that the items are still in storage, so technically my move is not completed entirely yet. But given my very positive experience for the first part, I am quite confident with them and hope moving the stuff back out from storage will be just as seamless. Thanks!Shleppers Moving & Storage

Would give negative stars if I could. ***** this company like the plague, especially for interstate moves. Check their online reviews in other forums. I have moved around the country several times before, and from end-to-end my experience with Shleppers has been nightmarishly bad:- Spent an hour on FaceTime doing a detailed walkthrough of every inch of my apartment to get a binding quote. Movers show up and immediately start commenting that the quote was off - this is moving day so clearly I don't have other options I can quickly deploy. Ultimately charged more than $1,000 (+20%) from original quote, which I am now disputing with my ************ Despite explicit instructions, the movers left things behind we asked them to pack. Though remarkably, they did pack and move the actual garbage in our garbage can cross-country. Despite their claims, this is not a company you can "leave alone to do your move" - I should have been micro-managing their crew - Upon arrival, we noticed an array of missing and damaged items - Their customer service is a joke, will ignore your emails for weeks, and their HQ employees are quite rude. Be prepared to use New York attitude when dealing with this sham operation - Again, check their reviews online. They have under 3 stars on Yelp for a reason. My huge mistake was trusting my building/landlord, which recommended them. While that facilitated processes like clearing the *** with the landlord, it has been a tremendous mistake ever working with this operation (and I have written to my landlord to remove them from the list of recommended movers)AVOID SHLEPPERS AT ALL COSTS if you value your belongings, your money, and your peace of mind.Shleppers Moving & Storage
