Group Solar USA installed my Solar system in 2019. This year there have been problems with my roof, its in very bad condition and needs complete replacing. The roof was leaking due to the bad weather we had over the summer, In order to replace the roof the Solar panels have to be removed for the roof to be completed and replaced after the completion. I tried to contact Group Solar numerous times with no luck and after doing some search i found out that they went out of business. I even searched to see if they were bought over by another Solar **** I am trying to get my Roof fixed before the Winter. I have a 25 year warranty on the Solar.I have tried all avenues to get this situation resolved but all my calls went unanswered. .I am seeking your help, perhaps recommending a reliable Solar ** that does roofing as well as installing Solar. .Initial Complaint

I am seeking help, made numerous calls to Group Solar regarding my solar system. System was put in 2020. I am paying more bills than I did before I got the solar system. I am paying for the system plus high electric bills with con ******. Group solar installed my solar panels but did not complete the work so I am currently paying salus bank for the cost of the panels $50,000 plus my monthly Con *********************. This is horrible and frustrating. I've recently found out that group solar usa is currently doing business a radiant solar and they refuse to provide me with any assistance. On 10/23/2020, we decided to make a few home improvements which prompted to have solar panels installed in our home. However, since the panels were installed, we continue to experience a lot of issues. For example, one of two Solar inverter has not been working effectively for over a year. Secondly, a Solar panel fell onto the drive-way which could've seriously injured and or killed someone. After contacting a former worker from Group Solar USA, LLC named IIan (contact number: ************) a Level II Tech assessed the problem via video and confirmed that the Solar Inverter box was not working properly. We have witnessed the panels shake (move) tremendously during inclement weather. This matter is extremely dangerous to pedestrians and family members. We have been in contact with SALAL ************ who is responsible for the monthly billing. However, reported that they no longer have a relationship with Group Solar USA, LLC as they are no longer in business. We humbly seek your help surrounding this matter. -Group Solar USA LLC installed solar on my Roof on 8/19/2019 -Finance $43,350.00 total cost of of purchase $70,533.66 (per finance paperwork) -Working Solar system to reduce my electrical bill and Manufactures warranty covering panel and inverters for 25 years and systems warranty at no additional cost roof warranty none of which is met -systems was activated but not connected it was eventually connected after i reached out I have had issues with them not giving Con ****** the proper paper work its been a ongoing issue with group solar i have the email trail to prove i also reached to ************************ LLC a second time they try to contact Group Solar USA they are none responsive to them or to me service Finance gave a a name ************************* at *************************************************************** and a phone #************ i got no response its a ***********Customer Answer

Solar USA makes Spam calls to me at least 6 times a day with a recorded message. I have blocked each call and tried to contact this company to be put on the NO CALL LIST with no results.I need help to get this to stop.Customer Answer

I was approached by a representative of Group Solar USA in fall of 2019. After discussing my house needs, Group Solar agreed to install a new roof before installation of the solar panels and system in November of 2019. The new roof and panels went up but solar converter box didn't go in until February 2020. The system seemed to work fine for about six months. Then my tenant started complaining that there was water coming down from the roof. Water stains were showing up on my tenant's ceiling. August 2021 during hurricanes *** and *****, the roof leaked badly enough that one of the walls in my rental was saturated. The runoff destroyed my foyer. The company that initially installed the roof wanted to come in to fix the foyer but not the roof. I said I wanted the roof fixed and they haven't been back yet. The solar system has not worked in over a year. It used to show lots of lights blinking. Now the panel is dead but for one light and I'm back to paying ConEd. My foyer is still a gaping maw of damage. The roof had still not been addressed and I cannot get Group Solar on the phone or email. The roofer no longer answers my calls. I am paying for a solar conversion system that does not work and a roof that is obviously defective but no one will fix.Initial Complaint

I had Solar Panels installed on my property in the Fall of 2019.I was told that I should get a Tax Rebate since I installed the Solar Panels. As of today, I cannot get any responses back from the Company's employees. I have sent repeated e-mails, and I have left voice mail messages, but to no avail, no one has responded. I'm afraid that if I encounter any problems with the system, I have no one to turn to, hence this is why I have decided to contact the BBB.This is very frustrating! I'm retired and I don't need to go through the stress. I am very disappointed with Group Solar's attitude towards hard working New Yorkers! This is unacceptable! I purchased my solar panels from Group Solar USA, LLC on February 14, 2019. The cost of the solar panels is $35,470.00 plus interest which Im paying to ************************* LLC. My contract states that they are committed to provide me the following services: system warranty, rooftop warranty, free monitoring 24/7, production guarantee, etc.Since May 2022, I have been trying to get Group Solar to come to my house and check the panels. Also, when I check the app, it shows there is an error and specifically states: There is an issue with your gateway meter measurements. Contact your maintainer for help. Group Solar USA ************. I have called Group Solar many times, but they hardly ever take my calls. The few times I was able to speak to the representative regarding my situation, they told me that they didnt have a technician available and that they will contact me when one is available. I called Enphase the manufacturer company and they told me their system shows I have multiple errors with my panels: my meter is not working, the microinverters are not working properly, etc. Enphase sent emails to Group Solar and Group Solar does not respond back to them. I really need Group Solar to send a technician to my house and fix the problems I have with the panels. My biggest concern is that the summer is when Im supposed to produce enough energy for the winter, but with the consistent issues Im dealing with, I dont think this will happen. Please help!!
