    Subject: Unresolved Repair Request for Washer Under **s Extended Warranty Contract Summary of Complaint:I have been dealing with Fixity to try get my washing machine repaired or replaced under **** extended warranty for SIX weeks. Timeline of Events:I contacted ** extended warranty to request a repair for my washer, which was not agitating and also making grinding noises at end of spinning cycle. ** assigned Fixity Appliance Repair to handle the repair. Fixity visited my home SIX times (evaluation, extra personnel, wrong parts, forgot parts, etc.). With much difficulty (I saw the technician cutting bolts, hammering strongly, etc.), Fixity replaced the transmission of the washer. In the end, not only the machine still did not work properly (still not agitating and now shaking violently while spinning), but the technician also forgot to reconnect the drain hose with the result that my laundry room was flooded.After complaining to **, ** sent a different company to evaluate the washer. This other company suggested the machine was now unrepairable. ** then assigned Fixity again to take another look at the machine. This time the Fixity technician agreed that the washer was unrepairable.A week has passed since the last visit by the Fixity technician and my case is still not resolved. ** tells me that they are waiting for Fixitys final report. I called Fixity and they told me they had already sent everything they needed to send to **. Then I called ** and they said that was not the case. ** called Fixity while allowing me in the conversation in which Fixity promised to send a written report that same day. That was two days ago and ** says they still have not received the report.Impact:- Six weeks without a functioning washer.- Over $100 spent at a laundromat.- Potential damage to my laundry room floor due to flooding caused by Fixity's negligence.- Many hours and significant stress dealing with this issue.This level of service is unacceptable.

    On teusday Nov 14th a technician came to fix an issue with my refrigerator via a ********** protection plan. Let's first begin with issue number 1. This was the third scheduled appointment that had to be changed do to confirmations of times that were then changed. This time, an email and phone call were sent the day before confirming a window of 3pm to 5pm. I have the email and call. Ok, seems like we are getting somewhere. Nov 14th at 11:40 am I get a call that the technician is 20 min away. I explained that wasn't what was confirmed and with no regard asked for someone to be there or I'd have to reschedule AGAIN. So I left work. The job was to change a freezer drawer gasket and fix the problem of freezer draw not closing. I asked that after changing the gasket he check the drawer as well. This giys was not the nicest. After changing the gasket he basically said, after seeing the problem wasn't fixed, defrost everything and it will close?!?! What??? That made no sense. He put our drawer on a stone floor which further damaged and scratched very much our stainless steel appliance. He messed up our newly painted walls and didn't solve the problem. I called to follow up to him and to the company. They were of zero assistance. So now I have an unfixed freezer with the same problem and a damaged exterior and wall that needs to be repainted. This is a pathetic show of business, needs to be rectified and as a business owner myself no one should ever work with this crappy of a service. I shouldn't have to do their job. It's disgusting.

    I have purchased a ********** Services Warranty and through this warranty - they used Fixity as the vendor to fix my ******* refrigerator. It has been almost a month now and they have been unable to fix my fridge. The technician keeps coming to my house and saying that it is because the doors are not closing properly. However, he fixed the doors and the fridge is still not working. Even though I've been trying to call and inform them that it is not the doors and it is something else - they refuse to fix it. I have been unable to purchase groceries because the fridge is not working. I unfortunately had to buy a new fridge and I am requesting that my warranty be refunded and the cost of my fridge be paid for. The technician refused to test any of the parts of the fridge and insisted that we wait 2-4 weeks to see if it cools down. This is absolutely unacceptable.

    May 24, 2023 I have been a ********** Services customer for ten plus years. I have maintained a ***** Master Protection Agreement on a yearly basis for that time. I understand that with the closure of ***** Transformco (************************************************************************** *****) has purchased and maintained appliance warranties and home and appliance maintenance plans since then. In all my time a Master Protection agreement holder I have never encountered the difficulty I am currently having with getting a covered appliance repaired.It has been seven weeks since I was scheduled for an appointment with ********** Services to repair my Whirlpool washing machine as provided by my ***** Master Protection Agreement. Fixity Appliance Repair of Brooklyn, ** was assigned the repair as our ***** Service Provider through my maintenance agreement. THE REPAIR IS NOT COMPLETED!I have made numerous attempts to discuss a resolution regarding the issues delaying Fixitys ability to repair my washing machine. I have attempted to get information myself in regards to the delay of parts ordered for the repair by Fixity. In the ten plus years I have been a Master Protection Agreement holder I have never had to research the whereabouts of parts ordered by the ********** Services technician. To date Fixity Appliance Repair has been unsuccessful in getting the required parts shipped to my house for the repair. I have contacted my attorney and at his advice sent a letter by Certified Mail to Fixity requesting they make the necessary repairs this week or I am contacting another repair service and filing suit against them for the cost of the repairs. I live in a mother-daughter type housing situation with my handicapped wife. We do several loads of wash each week. It is unbelievable that a repair service assigned to do contracted appliance repairs can be so inefficient diagnosing, ordering parts and getting the appliance fixed in a timely fashion!Yesterday, May 23rd, upon tracking the letter I sent to Fixity Appliance Repair I was notified the letter was being returned because THE ADDRESSEE WAS NOT KNOWN AT THE DELIVERY ADDRESS. The ***********, Brooklyn address to which I sent the letter is the one associated with the phone number I have been receiving calls from. Fixity Appliance Repair at ***********, Brooklyn seems to be one of several Fixity Appliance Repair companies returned upon an internet search.My further inquiry into Transformco ***** is with regard to the assignment of a repair service for warranty and maintenance plans that is not a Better Business Bureau certified company, compounded by the fact it is almost impossible to receive help from Fixity Appliace.Is there anything that you can do to resolve this situation and get my washing machine repaired as soon as possible through my ***** Master Protection Agreement?
