    On Nov 6, 2023 I commissioned **** Russo to do 2 portraits of our 2 Labs. I sent him photos of the dogs along with $600 to complete the paintings.He assured me they would be completed the week of March 3, 2024.I emailed him in again on April 4/2024, in which he responded that he was finishing them up at that time..Checked in again on May 11, 2024, June 12, 2024, September 6, 2024 asking for refund if they couldnt get done. I received no replies from him on any of these emails Oct 17, 2024 I once again emailed him for update and received a message stating he had over 400 portraits to create and they would take him well over a year to complete. That no one was getting scammed, saying everyone was getting a one of a kind hand painted portrait 100%by him and it takes Time! That was my last communication from him. I sent him another email on Feb 9, 2025 asking him once again on the progress of order, reminding him of his past replies stating he was finishing them up etc.. as usual I have received zero replies to emails or messages to him via messenger. He has also blocked me from commenting on his ******** page, as I would occasionally ask about the status of my commissioned works. I have no idea what to do at this point. I wish I had read the complaints from others before I commissioned him to do the work, but since he is a high profile internationally known artist I felt confident in his reputation. We live and learn and while Im totally disappointed is his lack of professionalism in responding to clients I still hold out hope that he will honor his claim that he will deliver. Im out $600 and have missed 2 birthdays over the last 14 months. Almost one year from his first deadline of completion being March 2023.Thank you for giving me this platform to share my grievance Many blessings, ***** ***** *** ********** **

    I purchased a gift certificate for myself for a custom portrait by **** ********************** in December 2023. He ran a half price special for custom portraits for the Holiday. I paid $300.00 for a custom 16x20 portrait of my dog ***** (reg. $600) in January 2024. I followed up with an email two weeks later to ensure that it was received with ** ********************** reporting that my order was on his schedule to be completed by the end of March 2024. I contacted him in June 2024 to follow up on progress of portrait as well as provide an updated address for shipping. He spoke at length about how busy he was but would squeeze it in. I thanked him and told him to take a breath and compete it when he could (as I didnt want him painting while aggravated). I have emailed him twice this year with no response. I

    On 4/27/24 I ordered a 8x10 custom evolution print & 6 months later I still do not have my print. I have sent emails on the website ****************************** asking for updates & get no response. I have sent messages on ******** messenger on 6/8/24, 8/29/24 and on 9/5/24 I received a response "I am in the process of working on it now". I sent a a message asking for an update on 9/29/24 & 10/3/24 and have not received any responses. My complaint is the same as the others. When you order there is no message telling you it will takes months to complete your order. My order was a gift, that I still have not received. Six months is a ridiculous amount of time to wait. Perhaps stopping the nightly prints for awhile until the back orders are caught up is a good idea. Please help me get this order. Thank you.

    8/31/23 Order placed for portrait of 7 dogs, I believe promised by xmas in ******* 11/27 I inquired on status 12/1 No response I inquired again 12/7 Emailed again and received reply that there had been a family emergency and on 12/8 confirmed i would have by ****.12/14Dean emailed he needed me to resend all of my pictures because they were lost.I did same day.12/21 emailed since no status 12/23 emailed again since no status and this was a major gift 12/26 received a reply he needed more time 1/21 emailed since no word from ** ********************** 1/24 ** ********************** sent proof. It was hard to tell which dog was which honestly but i was happy to receive SOMETHING but it was only of 6 dogs.I emailed him back He replied and asked if i wanted a second portrait of the single dog.I said I would rather have them together.1/25 He said he would re-do right away 3/5After zero correspondence I emailed again 3/6 ** ********************** advised it would be completed the week of 4/21 4/24 No word or proof received so I sent a follow up email to verify on track.5/8 Still no reply. I asked if he needed anything from me and I also asked if it was too large of an order I would be willing to take a refund.5/27Still nothing so i emailed repeating same offer as last time of me taking a refund.7/8 I emailed again with same email 7/9 I emailed again stating I wanted a status or a refund.To date It is now days away from a year and I have nothing.

    I purchased a custom portrait (this would be my fourth one over the years). My ***** Fargo Credit Card was charged $175.00 on 4-25-2024. I emailed a photo and asked if it would work and *** ********************** replied "Thank you, it is absolutely perfect" on that same day, 4-25-2024. I inquired about the receipt of his portrait via email on 5-25-24 and was told "your order will be completed by the end of the week". I emailed AGAIN 6-21-24, after never receiving the portrait, and asked that my money be refunded if he had not started the portrait. 6-22-24 I get, yet another response "It will be finished off this week" . This is bordering on ridiculous. I am sick of the canned responses and I don't even think it is really him responding at this point because it's the same nonsense every time. It should be on my doorstep by now. No it should have been on my doorstep LONG AGO. I am livid and sick of going back and forth. I wonder if he is even the one that will do the portrait at this point or if someone else is and he will just sign it?

    I placed an order with *** ********************** for three pet portraits, order #*****. He responded to my initial email when I placed the order and provided photographs of the three pets. He advised me that my portraits were scheduled to be completed in March. I have reached out to him multiple times via email but he is no longer responding to my requests for information as to when I can expect to receive the completed portraits. I am happy to provide copies of correspondence and email threads relating to my attempts to reach him. At this time I am out of options to resolve this directly with *** ********************** as he will not respond. I will be contesting the charge with my credit card company if you are unable to assist with a resolution. *** ********************** has completed one previous portrait for me, with similar difficulties. While he is an accomplished artist, perhaps he has taken on too much work and is having difficulty delivering. In that case the honorable thing to do is communicate well th his clients honestly. I hope that we can resolve this immediately.

    I ordered a custom portrait in August 2022. I submitted the photo for the portrait in Nov 2022. I was told, in March 2023, that my portrait was scheduled to be completed in late April of 2023. Since then, I have not received my portrait nor have I received any communication or responses to my repeated emails asking for a status update.Since I submitted my picture in Nov, I gave the artist time to handle holiday orders before reaching out about my portrait. The artist was quick to reply to my first two emails, which I appreciated, but has since been silent to my emails.

    I ordered 3 pieces of original artwork from *** *********************** He was offering a discount on his normal price. I have the original receipt and 2 or 3 follow up e-mail exchanges that I had with him. I ordered the art on May 15, 2022 and he promised me I would have the work in late January, February and late March. I have stopped trying to contact him because I know longer believe him. Below I am attaching images of the original receipt and previous correspondence that I had with him.
