    MIDOCEAN AIR, LCC CAME TO FIX AN AIR CONDITIONER THAT WAS NOT WORKING. THEY QUOTED A ***** ($500.00 , THEN RENEGGED CLAIMING THEY MADE AN INCORRECT ESTIMATE AND THEN QUOTED $700.00 WHICH WAS AGREED TO. PAYMENT ARRANGEMENTS WERE MADE AND SET ON THE SERVICE ORDER ($400.00 ON 05/24 AND THE BALANCE OF $300.00 ON JUNE 7). THE **** DOES NOT WORK AND THEY REFUSE TO COMPLETE REPAIRS FOR THE ***** THEY QUOTED (WHICH IS NOW $1200.00).

    We needed the external bodies of our **s moved to a different spot within our rooftop. We hired MIDOCEAN air to do the move as they were recommended by our buildings contractor. *****, from the business, came in the weeks prior to do an assessment and give us a quote. He said they should have no issues putting the **s on the wall. The agreed price was $4000 and the work was to be completed in 3 days. We paid via Zelle $2000 deposit on the morning of 7/13 before they came to begin work. Once the workers arrived and unpacked on the rooftop on 7/13, they claimed that the wall will not hold the ** bodies. They started thinking of alternative options and the price increased to $5000. At 930am, they were told by my husband via text message to stop working. The men stayed on our roof for no apparent reason. By 12pm that day, they quoted us $7000 to complete the work. We told them no again. At this point, we had to meet with our buildings architect and contractor to reevaluate the job. We do not know when the workers left. We have tried to contact the business multiple times since. We were able to connect twice and they refuse to give us back our money. In the meantime, we had to find another contractor, who has agreed to complete the work for $3500. We are requesting that our $2000 is returned. We have copies of text messages we can submit to show all the communication.
