      On August 31, 2022 at approximately 8:05 PM, Wednesday. A health aide by the name of ********** proceeded to mock me personally. She did this by intercepting me going to the bathroom in my own home. I asked her if she was done and she responded in the affirmative. However, before I entered my bathroom she entered a second time with no warning and proceeded to do nothing in the bathroom but occupy space. I believe she did this mock me personally because I used to suffer from "Obsessive Compulsive Disorder" (OCD). A crippling mental disorder characterized in some peeps by compulsive "hand washing" and other unnecessarily repetitive locomotor movements.

      Our ***************** Team reached out regarding the allegations:

      "Good morning,

      I spoke with the patient's son and he confirmed the patient for the complaint is ***********************;********** and the caregiver *******************************************************************. When I spoke with him, he clarified that the complaint referred to the date in question, when the aide washed her hands twice right after one another and she did this with what ****** (patient's son, not listed in Exchange) considered to be excessive thoroughness. He stated he interpreted this in the moment to be an effort to mock him because he has suffered from OCD in the past however he stated that looking back on it, she may have OCD herself or she may not have intended her hand washing to be a mocking gesture. He stated that he does not want the aide removed from the case. 

      I spoke with ********** who stated that she never intended to mock or make fun of the patient's son. She admitted to washing her hands very frequently because the patient is bedbound and requires a lot of care, however she denied that she intercepted the patient's son on his way to the bathroom and denied that her handwashing was excessively thorough.********** stated she has been on the case for almost a year and there has never been any issue with the patient or her family members so she is shocked that a complaint such as this was received. She requested that we reach out to the patient's daughter.

      I spoke with pt's daughter regarding the complaint and she stated that she has informed the agency not to take complaints seriously from her brother ****** because of his multiple mental illnesses. Per the daughter, ****** makes lots of accusations against the aides to the family members due to his schizophrenia. She stated he has even called the cops on aides for allegations of theft that were unfounded. ****** even requested that the patient have more dates of service with ********** due to multiple fill-ins being sent to the case; she would like ********** to work on the weekends while the other weekend aide is on vacation. Communication was sent to the ** regarding this request. "
