  I thought I was the only one but clearly they are poorly run.Before appointment, specifically requested confirmation of costs and insurance coverage. I was assured that if no one contacted me, everything is covered by insurance. At my appointment, I again sought clarification when asked to sign paperwork regarding financial responsibilities. The front desk staff reassured me that if I hadnt been contacted, my insurance covered fertility testing. I proceeded with my consultation, ultrasound, and bloodwork.After completing the blood draw (1014 vials), approached by the finance coordinator, who informed me I might owe up to $3,000 due to my deductible. This was the first time I was made aware of any potential cost. I questioned this lack of transparency and prior reassurances, the coordinator went on to admit that the front desk staff was not well-informed and should not have provided any financial information.This admission was as shocking and infuriating. If the front desk is not capable of providing accurate financial information, why are they allowed to speak on such matters at all? The finance coordinators acknowledgment of this internal failure highlights a systemic issue: patients are being misled by unqualified staff. A finance consultation should be the first step upon arrival for all new patients to ensure accurate information is *********** make matters worse, my bloodwork was withheld - Despite multiple calls to resolve the matter, I was treated dismissively. Given the time-sensitive nature of hormone testing, this delay rendered the bloodwork useless.Lack of professionalism, transparency, and accountability is appalling. Patients deserve accurate information about costs upfront, particularly at a fertility clinic where financial and emotional stakes are high.I hope my experience serves as a warning to other potential patients to seek care at this facility.

  Kofinas is the worst business ever, they give patients one price when you go in to speak to them and continue to charge patients with new bills without an explanation of where the bills are coming from. No support from the staff during the process and the pressure of frustration they cause with no regard for the wellbeing of the patient it's ridiculous. I would not encourage anyone to go to kofinas for services. I went there after I saw their commercial on how they help people conceive regardless of what problem they may have. Based on that commercial my husband and I did some research, and didn't find any complaints about them, so we decided to go there. Although I did not have anything wrong with me, my husband and I decided to use a younger person's eggs since I was already in my 40s. They had me undergo many procedures to ensure that all went well. They assured me that everything was well until it was not. Conversation changes and the embryo that was good all of a sudden was not good enough. One failed procedure after the next with no reasonable explanation of what happened other than to say let's try again. After and exhausted back and forth and having no trust in them, I went through the process again a third time just to use my last embryo. What frustrated me most about them was the fact they were not consistent about anything other than charging for things that I was not aware of or agreeing to. After I was done with the process and believed that I Paid all I was charged and wanted to grieve my loss in silence. They kept on sending me Bills. After discussions and I paid so they could go away, they sent me another bill. I argued that and got that clear. they sent me another one. This continued nonstop. This is not a place that cares for or is doing business to help people conceive, they are a business, that takes advantage of people during the most vulnerable stage of their lives. I hope people read this and don't make my mistake and go there.
