    This is a law office/attorney that assisted with the sale of my mother's home in 2019 when she passed away. It has now been about 5 years and my sister and I are still waiting to receive the balance of funds from the house sale. The office has made several payments to each of us but not the total amount of the sale. There has been poor communication throughout the 5 year period, without us sending emails/calls there is no communication initiated by the law office. ****** Reviews also reflect some of their poor operations. The desired resolution is to be paid the balance this year. We do not know of any other options other than finding a new attorney and pursuing a lawsuit if that is possible.

    I sought out Esquire ************************ for legal services in aiding me in retrieving my green card since it was taken due to pretenses of fraud. I hired ******** in hopes of receiving my green card and she told me after repeatedly asking her for information on the case for the past few weeks that the case was dismissed. When attempting to retrieve my proper documents from the proper places I was told that the case was never dismissed and they sent my attorney an update regarding my case status in December which she never told me about. I have been trying to receive information from her about the updates regarding my case and what has happened and about clarification about what is occurring and she has never responded. I feel as if she took my money and lied to me about what the actual decision was for my case and is now no longer responding.

    this is an initial response to *** ****** complaint.

    *** ****, a permanent resident with a green card, was apprehended by USCIS on October 7, 2020 in ******* and was released after hours of interrogation with an ankle bracelet.  *** **** entered New York was placed in a supervision program with the ankle bracelet.  His green card cancelled.  After obtaining my services, I filed an application for *** **** to be removed from the supervision program.  The ankle bracelet was removed.  *** **** was very pleased.  ********* *** **** was placed in removal proceedings to be removed from *****************.  he was scheduled for a Master Calendar hearing on February 3, 2022.  *** **** and I went to immigration court to the 12th floor.  the matter was cancelled.  I waited for the matter to be rescheduled.  To date, Immigration Court has not rescheduled the Master Hearing.  Instead of waiting for Immigration, I filed a Motion To Dismiss the matter and Reinstate his green card.  I went to the Immigration portal (EOIR portal) and saw that it was noted that the the judge ordered dismissal.  I don't have the dismissal order.  I sent an assistant to the immigration court with a letter to obtain a copy of the dismissal order.  The ocurt informed my assistant that the Order will be mailed.  I still have not received the Order.  I cannot "retriev *** ****"  USCIS has to reinstate his green card.  I made an application to the court and I am awaiting for a court order.  *** **** has been placed in proceedings by *****.  I am limited by the extent of the information that I can provide to protect *** ****** privacy.  ******** *** **** has been placed in removal proceedings.  *** ****** matter has been referred to immigration court.  I filed a Motion To Dismiss and Reinstate his green card.  I cna only wait for a decision from the court.  Immigration is very stressful for the clients.  We understand.  ******** As the attorney, we can only file the appropriate petition and asked for the relief.
