      I have been attempting to cancel my TuneCore service for several months without success. My primary concerns are:Unresponsive ***************** Multiple emails sent to **********************'s support team have gone unanswered. There appears to be no functional customer support system in place to address account cancellations or other issues.Continued Billing Attempts: Despite my repeated cancellation requests, TuneCore continues to attempt automatic billing to my ****** account. This persists even after I received emails stating that future transactions would not be attempted.Forced ****** Avoidance: Due to these unauthorized billing attempts, I've had to refrain from using my ****** account to avoid potential charges.Lack of Account Control: I have been unable to cancel my account through any available means, leaving me without control over my own service subscription.Violation of Consumer Rights: TuneCore's failure to honor cancellation requests and lack of responsiveness potentially violate consumer protection laws.Desired Resolution:I am seeking the following resolutions:Immediate and permanent cancellation of my TuneCore account.Cessation of all billing attempts to any of my payment methods.Written confirmation of my account cancellation.Refund of any charges incurred after my initial cancellation request.Implementation of a responsive customer service system to prevent similar issues for other customers.Prior Attempts to Resolve:I have made multiple attempts to resolve this issue directly with TuneCore, including:Sending numerous emails to their customer support.Attempting to cancel through any available options on their website.Explicitly stating in communications that I do not authorize future transactions.Despite these efforts, I have received no response and the issues persist, necessitating this complaint to the BBB.

      I am submitting this complaint against Tunecore for their unjust actions and lack of communication in handling my music distribution account. I am a paying customer on the professional plan and have encountered significant issues that have not been addressed appropriately. On 6/3, I received an email notifying me 12 of my tracks were flagged for artificial streaming, a claim I vehemently deny. I promptly responded to request further information to substantiate this accusation but received no response. To my dismay, on 7/24, I was informed that 23 of my tracks would be taken down, and I was charged a fee without prior warning or proof of the alleged artificial streaming activity. Subsequently, all my music was removed from platforms without due process. Despite my efforts to clarify the situation and provide necessary information, Tunecore failed to respond promptly and professionally. On 7/25, when I provided the requested UPC codes and highlighted an additional album that was erroneously removed, was met with silence. To exacerbate the situation, on 7/27, I received an unwarranted fee of $239.14 for artificial streaming, further adding to my frustration.My attempts to seek resolution through communication with **** went unanswered, leading me to visit Tunecore's office on 7/29 only to find no trace of their existence at the stated address. The lack of transparency and accountability displayed by Tunecore is unacceptable, and I demand immediate action to rectify this situation.In light of the aforementioned issues, urge the BBB to intervene and facilitate the following resolutions 1. Re-upload all of my music to the platform 2. Refund the fees unjustly charged to my account 3. Return any lost royalties due to the removal of my music As a valued customer, I expect a swift response and a satisfactory resolution to this matter. Tunecore's disregard for customer service and fair business practices must be addressed to prevent similar incidents in the future

      Let me first be clear and start off by saying every single solitary time Ive logged into Tunecore to do anything, its always been a hassle, and never been hasslefree. I submitted music to be released and as usual, theres a problem, these pathetic folks because theyre so incompetent will try and make you change your artwork. Try and make you change your song names and everything that youve done creatively because theyre incompetent. they dont respond timely, I have a professional account but yet they sent an email saying I have a pay per release, theyre very unorganized, they dont elaborate on issues, they play stupid ****** games, and they really destroy the excitement that goes along with the creative process and releasing music. I hate that Ive ever wasted time with this garbage of a company. They are a total scam and everyone that works there ought to be absolutely ashamed of themselves for what theyre doing to artist. Its no wonder theyre rating is an F. Tune core do the industry and all artist a favor and self-destruct. Intentionally taking days to respond and intentionally practicing bad business is a pathetic move and whoever is the Director or CEO of this pathetic distribution company needs to shut it down. DistroKid did in one day with this pathetic company couldnt accomplish in 1 week. I keep using the word because I mean it absolutely pathetic. PATHETIC!

      Was recently a music producer with TuneCore. Loved the service they offered, and made my music distribution very easy to use. I heard rumors from other producers that they steal your money, charge you when you cancel your service, and bully you with your music. I didn't believe it. My music was being produced and distributed with no issues, until..... Recently. They claimed my music was not 100% owned by me and had copyright material that was A.I. Generated. Now this wasn't an issue until I uploaded a christian ****** I provided all the necessary documents and the licensing I owned and they still gave me an issue while producing this. I had all my albums taken off because of the issues they were causing. I contacted distrokid because they said I would have no issues uploading and distributing with them, so I am moving my services over to them. I am requesting that Tunecore refund my subscription with them, close my account, and never use them again. I see that there is a 1.04/5 rating for this company and can understand why. They take forever to hear back from, and distrokid responds within a couple of minutes. Distrokid support is free, and if you contact TuneCore you hear back usually within 3 days. Funny.... Even with the highest paid plan, it still takes forever to contact them. Would not recommend Tunecore to anyone. They made it so simple and easy to get my music out there, but I cannot recommend this to anyone. All the information I provided showed proof that this music is my own and I own all rights to it. So not sure why TuneCore has decided to not allow me to produce this. They also claim that they will charge you $300 minimum if the music goes against their policy, and I don't have anything that is not my own content. So I am just avoiding TuneCore at all costs, and will advise others to stay clear.

      I am a Publisher, whom publish for multiple artists. In the month of May, I requested to change the phone number on my acct. with **********************, due to me not being able to access my acct. because I forgot my password. I was told it would take up to 30 days to complete the change. At the 30 day ***** I received an email stating the change was successful, and I could now create a new password. However, when clicking on the link sent to reset my password, they insisted I couldn't do it unless, I signed up for Authy; a 2-factor sign in protector. I complied because I needed access to my account, which I haven't been in for quite sometime due to falling ill. Afterwards, I tried signing into my TuneCore acct and could not because they sent the code to my old phone number, instead of the new. I thought maybe it's too soon, so I gave it 48 hrs. and tried again, still the same action. I then tried reaching out to customer service for help, and only received an AI robot who could not help me, or answer my questions for that matter. I then tried to retrieve the initial email, and it was deleted by them. In their FAQ, you're directed to get help from *****. At *****, they forced me to create a Twillo acct, to get help. After, doing so, still no access. I then tried their CS, and found the same thing as TuneCore, FAQ and no access to a live agent. Frustrated, I then proceeded to delete the 2-factor accts, and found i could not without getting into my TuneCore acct. first. It has been 2 months now that I have been trying to resolve this issue. I am unable to talk to anyone to help me. The phone number *************) only directs you back to the contact page of the website for no help. I have sent them a letter by mail to their headquarters address at ************************************** . This issue is damaging my business name and services.

      Tunecore is the worst company I have ever worked with as far as customer service. It is impossible to get anyone to respond, or to successfully contact anyone in this company with any problems, questions, or complaints. I am looking for money that I withdrew from my TuneCore account, and it still has not shown up in the Payoneer portal, which is where the money flows from TuneCore to me. I have not been able to get ANY response from any human, and the ** chat on the website is worthless. I have stopped uploading my music to TuneCore, but the music that I have uploaded in the past is still there, and I am just trying to communicate with anyone who can help. They say their team reviews requests and will get back to customers, but that never happens. If you are a musician uploading songs to platforms, avoid TuneCore at all costs.

      On May 21, 2024, I submitted my song to TuneCore to release/distribute June 5, 2024. I received an email from TuneCore May 22, 2024, stating that they "have determined that the above release contains audio which violates third party rights". I provided the Non-Exclusive License Contract Agreement the same day after receiving the email. I received an email from TuneCore on May 23, 2024 stating "Thank you for providing this documentation. We are forwarding this internally to be reviewed by our rights team. Due to higher than typical volumes, please allow 3-5 business days for additional updates to be provided.." It is June 7, 2024, and 11 business days with no response. I asked for an update on May 31, 2024, no response. I asked again using their website's support link on June 5, 2024, and automated email from TuneCore was sent stating I would receive a response within 1-2 business days. No response and nothing to date. I've paid them for the year back in September 2023 for their "Professional" plan, and their website states that customer service response time is 24 hours on the "Professional" plan. I've considered uploading the same song submission with another distributor, but I fear it may cause more issues, since TuneCore has my song for review. They also charged me an additional $6.35 for adding a second main artist, but my song submission status remains as denied.There is no other way of contacting them other than email. I understand that they may be busy due to high volume, but just give me an update...something...anything... even just "hey, rights team needs another 2-3 business days more"...This is so disappointing & discouraging to a new artist such as myself. They released 2 songs for me previously with no issues.If the issue is because I added a second main artist, I can omit it due to the License Contract Agreement. They don't need to be credited, I was just being nice to the second artist Looking for assistance with the matter. Thank you

      Better Business Bureau Complaint To Whom It May ********* am writing to formally lodge a complaint against TuneCore regarding significant discrepancies in our streaming revenue reports.In February 2024, our records indicate that we accrued ******* streams, yet the reported earnings for this period are a mere $5.72. This figure is grossly inconsistent with the revenue we should have received based on industry standards. Additionally, in January 2024, we recorded ****** streams, but TuneCore only reported $1.29 in sales. These numbers do not align with our previous earnings and suggest a serious issue in the reporting or payout system.As a long-standing record business, we have a thorough understanding of industry revenue expectations, and these figures are far below what is accurate and reasonable. We suspect there may be either a computer error or intentional withholding of funds.If these discrepancies are not resolved promptly and accurately, we will have no choice but to pursue legal action to recover our rightful earnings and ensure transparency in the future.We urge TuneCore to investigate this matter immediately and rectify these inconsistencies.       This is a music distribution company that I have released my music through them since 2019 , but not without constant issues. They charge me to release my music but will not actually release my music. On or around May 6th 2024 I paid a total of $75.00 to have a single released and it never happened. The only option you have to speak with someone to resolve your issue is through email. After multiple attempts Ive gotten no response besides an automated system telling you that someone will be in contact . Ive reached out through email on May, 8th May, 9th May 10th May 17th and May 21st 2024. This is a very common problem with this company and not the first time issue Ive had. I am left with no resolution and my money being taken. Theres nothing you can do about it because your only option is to email and they will continue to ignore you.
