My order was placed on Feb 17th,2025. Order number : ******* ***** says my order was delivered Thursday Feb 20th however it was not delivered to my address. I reached out to Amika and they asked if I wanted a reshipment I said no. They then told me an investigation had to be submitted which they would handle. I have since reached out to ***** and they advise no claim for my lost package has been made. Ive reached out by phone to amika 7 times left voicemails with no call backs. Their phone service says due to limited staff they are reaching out via email so I contacted them through their website with still no response. Ive sent multiple emails asking the status of my order/claim Atleast 5 times at which no one has responded back to let me know where my refund is.Customer Answer

Amika issued a recall, regarding bacteria in their shampoos, in December 9th 2024. We have since tried to get a response from them about this recall regarding bacteria and they have ignored all emails, phone calls, and turned off their chat lines. And turned off customer service for the phones stating to go to the closed chat. We are concerned over the lack of concern Amika has over this issue.Initial Complaint

On November 10th I purchased a hair straightener made by Amika. I gave it to my step daughter for Christmas and after only a handful of uses the straightener stopped working. I have attempted to contact them.via email 3 times and via phone several times as well to no avail. They reply with a message stating they'll get back to me within 2 business days and I've waited over a week now. I paid $97 for it and want a refund. It was purchased through a beauty supply outlet called Cosmoprof and they tell me I have to go thru the company it was made by. The Cosmoprof order number is *********. I ordered mirrorball last year to find out and not through amika that there was a recall. I reached out to the recall ***** to amika customer service, and through there website to no avail. I spent almost $140 on shampoo and conditioner. I want this replaced with the velveteen shampoo and conditioner the large bottles same size im replacing. I've called there not taking calls, I tried to chat and that's not an option either. What's going on? Your customer service used to be great. Shampoo exploded during shipment. I received order on 12/15/24 and contacted AMIKA same day informing them of the issue. They emailed me and said someone would reach out within 2 days. I have not heard from anyone, and today is 12/23/24. I would like someone from Amika to call me to resolve the issue and replace my shampoo.Customer Answer

This company Promises to give one free sample with every order and I have ordered two boxes from this company in the last couple of months and neither one have had a free sample and their customer service does not get back with you in two days as promised. I made an order on April 1st order number ******* with Amika it was my first time making an order with them my birthday was near and I decided to treat myself I've heard good things about their products and they had a coupon I could use so I decided to go ahead and order some things for my hair I only received two emails one was when i made the order the other to let me know my order shipped great well **** didn't send me any emails so I missed the first attempt to deliver (I had to sign for my delivery) due to that I rescheduled a delivery date for wed April 10 which the order was delayed and never delivered again didn't receive any email updates about the delay from **** anyhow I was home all day Thursday also awaiting my delivery to my surprise my order "was delivered" AND SIGNED FOR WITH MY NAME I was HORRIFIED I immediately contacted Amika and let them know what happened at first they sounded helpful told me that they will help any way they could as soon as I asked for a refund they said they could only reship I told them I couldn't and wouldn't wait because I will be on Vacation for the next three weeks and I do not want to have the same issue happen again well now they won't answer to my emails and I short nearly 300$ all because someone stole my delivery I don't know where it was delivered to and who force my signature but that is a crime and I should be refunded!Customer Answer

I placed an order yesterday evening, 2/20/24 and shortly after placing the order realized one of the products I had purchased was wrong and need to correct it before the order is fulfilled. I have yet to be able to contact anyone by phone, by email and their chat feature is ridiculous! There is absolutely no reason why there should be no way to contact customer service whether it be through chat or over the phone. I spent over $100 and unfortunately should have researched a little more on this company seeing as there are more complaints than compliments. I'm hoping that I will get my order but I would really appreciate it if I could make a correction prior to it being shipped and I'm only asking the bare minimum of being able to speak to someone from the company. Again whether it be through email chat or over the phone at this point I don't care I would just like to talk to an actual person and pray that I don't have to file another complaint sometime from now regarding receiving my order at all! My order number is ******* I need the signature conditioner in my order changed to the signature shampoo. There is no difference in pricing so it shouldn't affect my order total. I placed an order on 1/26/24 for over $300. On 1/31/24, tracking says the order shipped. It was never received, so I tracked with ****** They said they never received. I contacted Amika on 2/5. ******* said it was being mailed immediately. Still nothing as of 2/9. I tried contacting again, but no one is answering the calls. I tried again on 2/12, still no one at customer service. Is this company still in business? $300 is a lot of money for a company to just leave a customer hanging.Customer Answer

I made two separate orders during the holidays due to their sale. One order was received right away and the second order was never received. I contacted the merchant and was told it was being delayed due to holidays but I was going away and needed it right away. My package never arrived, although it said delivered. I reached out to my credit card company to dispute it as I didnt receive anything and also reached out to amika, was told they have to submit an investigation thru fed ex and it can take weeks but will do so and then Id get my refund. I never got my money back. I reached out again and told I would get refunded immediately but chargeback from card had to be removed. I called my card company and chargeback was removed, but now amika is refusing to refund me for a package I never received! I called 800- and no answer. I just would like my refund for order #******* and now no one is responding to me. The customer service is terrible and first you want to refund me now you dont. I will not pay for something I never received. I have all the emails saved. I will never order from Amika again after this. I am owed a refund of ******.
