    Like so many of the other folks filing complaints about this company, I clicked on a FB ad for their "closing sale" and purchased some Jewelry in September. It came, and while I was not delighted with it, I kept it. Then my credit card used for the purchase got charged $22.95 per month by them in October, November and December. When I emailed to say that I had not made any additional purchased and request a refund of those charges, they said those were charges for the "membership" I had signed up for on check out.I saw nothing during my check out process that said "do you want to pay $22.95 per month to become a member?" -- instead, as their first response message to me says, "I see that you were signed up when you placed the order since you ticked the "box" Yes, I agree to Terms of Service and would like to join the Aspens Family!"There is nothing on the landing page that explains membership. I did find it, buried in the small print list at the bottom.I got no emailed receipt for my one September purchase, nothing that welcomed me to the membership, no notifications or receipts for my recurring payment.Yes, I should have read the fine print - clicked on "terms of service" and noticed the charge. And, this is a deceptive business practice, designed to ensure that they get lots of folks to pay money for months without noticing, that they won't refund. The amount below is the "membership dues" they have charged my credit card.

    On September 26, I bought 6 jewelry items from Aspen Jewelers for a total of $27.07. I received these items, but then was charged another $22.95 on October 17, plus $22.95 on November 14, and $22.95 on Dec 11. I did not sign up for any subscription. I would like to be refunded for the 3 payments of $22.95 for a total of $68.85.

    I ordered a ring from aspen jewelry becsuse it was cheap and there sale going out of business. At no time in fine print did it say I would be objected to further charges for any membership or for any program.there was no mention of any type of additional charges other than for taxes and shipping purposes.this was in October of 2023.Since my order and recieving my ring my account has been charged twice now for charges of ***** for no reason other than fraudulently trying to take money.there has been no contract no merchandise no services rendered and no authorization from myself whom is only person that has authorization for my account.i have had to have aspen blocked from my account but also I have had to replace debit cards and request for investigation into my banking for multiple attempts to access money from my other accounts now from several different resources that began when I attempted to order from aspen.

    Took my money out of my account , I didnt sign up for the membership but have still taken money from my account , blocked me on ******** after asking for a refund and to have the membership cancelled I needed that money to buy my baby some Formula milk but now I cant as I have no money left as they have taken the last of my money from my bank , I need a refund and my membership cancelled and then no more contact from ************

    I placed an order with this company after seeing their 'going out of business' post on Instagram. I ordered 3 necklaces in November of 2023. I was charged $21.95 on my account, and received my order, which look far off from their pictures on their website. Today, December 7th, I see another charge on my account for $22.95 that I did not place!!!! Now I am reading all these negative reviews on this company and hiw others were charged a membership fee! I NEVER signed up for a membership! I have fallen for their scam and would like my account to stop being charged before I begin getting overdraft charges!!!! Now I need to let my bank know about this and see if I can get a new card!

    Because even though they originally said they will refund my amount within 3 to 5 business days, now they said they can only refund a portion of it.

    I placed an order with Aspens Jewelers online for 12.82$ and after placing my order I saw posts and comments about the company being a scam. I received my order so I didnt think anything of it but woke up this morning to them trying to charge my card for 22$ and some change. I did not authorize this charge and had to contact my bank. Now I have to deactivate my debit card and get a new one and go through disputing charges.

    I purchased jewellery in September of 2023 and received it.Then I was further charged a membership fee on my credit card at 3am in the morning a month later in October 2023.I reached out to the company via email and they said that I had signed up for a membership fee which I had not done.They further said that they would cancel the membership and not further charge me.However, I told them that I wanted the membership fee refunded and I would even send back the jewellery to receive all of my money back if the reason they do this is to make their jewellery more Affordable.To date I havent received my refund of the membership nor any more email replys with regards to this matter.I also have put a hold on my card and have requested a new card to be issued with a new number.I have seen other problems in the reviews about this.$30.89US/$43.28CDN Oct. 12, 2023 4:45pm Jewellery Purchase $23.87US/$33.99CDN Nov. 03, 2023 3:21am UNAUTHORIZED MEMBERSHIP CHARGE

    As many have stated, I saw an IG add stating Aspen Jewelers was going out of business and they were having a close out sale. I ordered a handful of items that arrived weeks later from a very suspicious address which I researched and found it to be some sort of 3rd party company that handles shipments for cheap c*** from ***** most of which is typically scams. *********** ************************************************************************* Regardless I did receive my items, they are much cheaper than they appear online but I received them. The problem more so falls with the fact that they automatically sign you up for their membership which auto charges your card a monthly fee. I cant stress enough, there is NO mention of this ANYWHERE during purchasethey do not show you member prices vs non member prices or suggest signing up for a membership to get extra perks etc so youre unaware a membership is even a thing they offer. You just think youre getting a sale price because theyre going out of business Also youd never think youd be signing up for a membership for a company thats going out of business. They have a terms and conditions box that HAS to be clicked in order to make purchase but it does NOT state that its a membership, it states youre agreeing to their terms and conditions and youre joining the Aspen family which I assumed meant youre signing up for emails as do most of these check boxes you see upon check out. Needless to say I was charged without my knowledge for a bogus membership for a company who is advertising that they are closing but had the audacity to tell me their membership is the way they stay in business when I emailed to cancel. Im confused, thought you were going out of business? Or did you manage to scam enough people into bogus memberships so you can stay open? This site is all lies. Id be willing to bet not a single dime goes to any sort of environmental charity like they state. This entire site needs to be shut down for false advertising.

    In September 2023 I purchased some jewelry from Aspen Jewelers from an online sale of 75%. Since receiving the jewelery I have been charged an additional $22.95 in October 2023 and again in November 2023. After contacting my credit card company they suggested I contact the jeweler. The jewelers voicemail is full and there is no resolution through email communication.
