Moved into an apartment that had multiple problems with a super that refused to fix issues until it was too late and then made them worse.Issues: Ceiling collapse Floor collapse Black Mold Water damage Pipes burst Melted floor Rotted subfloor Ventilation in bathroom permanently broken serving as entryway for mice roaches and other bugs Half of the apt has no working outlets/electricity Intercom doesnt work anf breaks after every repair Elevator breaks every couple months sometimes multiple times in a month Holes/gaps in walls and floors Sink in bathroom unattached to wall and loose Extremely filthy garbage rooms with lots of flies and roaches running through halls No heat Sewer backs up into sink and toilet at times Management lies constantly and denies everything Bribes paid to inspectors Harassment night and day calling fire department or police with no legitimate reason Going into apt unannounced when nobody is there Destroying furniture and taking devices before being caught. If you go to live in any apt owned by this group keep proof of everything and take pictures of even the most minor of issues as they will be necessary later. Do not hesitate to make **************************************************************************************************************************************************************************** that they made any such promise. Record all conversations with them by phone or in person since they avoid leaving any records in emails, text, or letters and will pretend they never saw them. Check bill regularly as they add illegitimate fees and charges when they feel like it. Also check electricity meters as they dont pay for building electricity and siphon electricity from the tenants. The issues listed are the most major there are hundreds of others that wont fit in one review. Avoid apts owned by them.

I am a tenant, whose apartment has constantly been broken into with the use of a key (no forced entry). My sister and I currently resides in the ******************* apartments, in ************** *******. We have filed a police report for one of the break-ins, which has caused my insurance (car and rental insurance) to increase. We feel like prisoners since one of us must remain inside the apartment at all times, or the thieves will strike. The new property manager informed me less than a month ago, that we could move out, since it appears that I was hinting that one of her maintenance guys were responsible. She informed me that we could move out now, by the end of last month, but we hadn't found a place. Just recently, I ran my sister on a few of her errands, and when we returned the thieves has struck again and stole several outfits, and one in particular was given to her by her son who was murdered. She couldn't stop crying, because it held sentimental value. The resident manager informed us that we could break our lease, due to the break-ins, but we just received an email from the assistant manager, **********************************, who stated that we would have to stay until the end of April, or pay the full amount for breaking the lease. I sent an email to ***** stating that I took this as a blatant way for them not to refund me my $1,300.00 dollars deposit. I tried to email the headquarters for resident management incorporated, in ********, or the regional office in *******, but their email address is hard to find. The thefts have totalled over $2,000.00, and no one cares. We are not rich, which means we can't afford to keep replacing items that are stolen from us. I feel that the resident manager is not honoring her earlies statement about allowing us to leave.
