1 starI placed an order for eyeglass frames and expected to receive it within 7 days as advertised. I followed up with the order after 7 days and the Designer Optics *** ***lied that I will be informed once their factory has shipped the order. 1 starI placed an order for frames, they charge my **** and they never sent an order confirmation. Had to email them to find out that the order even went through. After a few weeks I had to contact them again to see where my order was, no updates. They said the manufacturer had not sent them yet but that they would have information by the end of the next week. Turns out they weren't even opened all of that next week so when I reached out to them the following week, I called. I was put on hold and told my wait time would be 27 minutes. An hour and a half later a representative took my order number and said they would have to contact the manufacturer for the status and after waiting, he got back online and said they had not been sent. Horrible!!!! I should read the reviews before I purchased my sunglasses prescription. Their customer service is terrible. No update or status regarding my order. Horrible communications. They specify delivery 7-10 business days, and still no information regarding my order. Paid in full with shipping. I agree with other reviewer Designer Optics is a rip off, I would not recommend this company with anyone. Horrible!!!! The customer service I spoke to via chat keep stating my prescription sunglasses was sent to the lab and yet no update from my online account, still show unfulfilled status. I asked customer service why they have not updated my online account regarding my order, I was told its a the lab. this place is a scam.Designer Optics Corp.

Prescription sunglasses do take a bit more time to process, as they require careful handling and customization by our lab but even so, we aim to keep our customers informed every step of the way. If your order status didnt update online as expected, thats something wed like to look into and improve.
Unfortunately, we werent able to locate your order based on this review alone. If youd be willing to provide your name or order number, wed be happy to personally investigate what happened and do what we can to make it right.

I purchased a frame and paid the overnight delivery ********* no tracking info.I reached out to customer service who said they didnt have the frame in stock.Upon asking them for a refund for my overnight delivery they blunt told me they dont give refunds and soon as the frames are in stock they will send me the information.Who knows when that will be.Also customer service stop responding to my questions.This place is a rip off.Designer Optics Corp.

We understand how frustrating it is when theres a delay, especially after paying for expedited shipping. While the item you ordered did have a processing time before shipping (noted on the product page), we recognize that expectation wasnt clear enough in this case. As soon as you requested it, we fully refunded the overnight shipping fee and did our best to keep you updated.
Our goal is always to be transparent, helpful, and responsive and were sorry if you felt that wasnt the case here. Well continue to use your feedback to improve how we communicate about shipping timelines moving forward.

Total scam false advertisement. They claim to sell ******** on the website, but NOT true! They will ship similar name brand hopping you dont notice, but you actually get garbage for your money! Dont buy from them! Dont trust them!Designer Optics Corp.

1 starDo waste your time and money with this company. I in good faith order *** *** prescription glasses from them on Oct 24th and here it is Nov 15th and I just received notice that my glasses have shipped. I've order glasses before from Zeelool and Zenni and and both times received my prescription glasses in two weeks. I contacted Designer Optic at the two week **** and was told the Ray *** frames I order was out of stock. At no time did anyone reach out to let me know the frames were not in stock. I did not have the option to choose another frames that were in stock or to cancel my order. When I address all this in email. I received generic answers and replies which were the same I heard from other who call about their orders. I was told that once my glasses were ready they will expedite them to me. Expedite means I should receive my glasses within one of two days of them shipping not five days later that is regular shipping. I hope to God when I finally do receive my glasses they are perfect so I can be done with this company. Truthfully at this point I really just want my money back.Review fromGrant A

Nice website but ******** customer service! Over 1 MONTH to get my order! And no emails on delayed shipment, etc. I will never order from Designer Optics ever again. And I recommend that you buy your glasses from somewhere else! I do NOT believe the positive reviews here!Designer Optics Corp.

I ordered Oct 12 and received the wrong style glasses and they are kids size today on Oct 31. This is my second time in 3 years placing a order with this company and that was a bad experience as well. Starting the process of returning the wrong style and size glasses now and I am worried how this is going to turn out.Designer Optics Corp.

1 starAbsolutely terrible customer service!! If I could give them 0 stars I sure would!! I ordered a new pair of glasses from them, obviously paid for the, and have NEVER received them!! I have tried numerous times to contact them through ***************** & received no response! The message on their phone says they are closed for the holidays!! LOL....exactly which holiday is that?? It's no wonder why they are not accredited with the BBB. I truly believe this is a SCAM and plan to get a refund from my bank first thing tomorrow morning!!
