  DO NOT INVEST VIA AST/ EQUINITY TRUST COMPANY, LLC.I do not understand how, in this day and age, a company as corrupt as AST/ Equiniti is allowed to operate. 1. The first red flag occured In November of 2024 when I contacted AST/Equiniti to sell my shares of Western Digital stock, and was informed that after receiving the necessary paperwork via U.S. MAIL because there was no ability to simply download the forms, a check would be MAILED because transfer of funds via the web was not possible. However, I could PURCHASE stock via the web!2. The forms finally arrived after 10 days on 12/9/2024, and I mailed the completed forms on that day. 3. On 1/6/2025, I contacted AST/Equiniti and was informed that the check had been MAILED on 12/18/2024, and that I SHOULD have received it within 8-10 business days. At this time the *** offered to send a send a second check which would take an ADDITIONAL 8-10 days. I refused.4. On 1/8/2025 I contacted AST/ Equiniti and spoke with Shilpe or Shilpa, who said that a second check had actually been sent on 1/6/2025.5. After ***orting AST/ Equiniti to the ** and NY Attorney General, the ***********************, and the **********************************, I FINALLY received my "original" check on 1/17/2025...... about 30 days after the original check was "supposedly" mailed! I never received the "supposed" second check???????DO NOT INVEST VIA AST/ EQUINITY TRUST COMPANY, LLC.

  Horrible company to deal with. I have asked three times to get a date of death statement for my sisters estate and have not received the document yet. They also spelled my name wrong on a past due dividend check and wanted to bill me to replace the check and asked why I didnt deposit it with my misspelled name.

  This is by far one of the worst companies that I have ever dealt with!!! I have been trying to have shares held by AST from a former company that I worked for moved to my brokerage account for about a month now with no success. The shares were moved to a new account with a new account number that I cannot access because they will only provide me access to the new account number by sending me a statement through the US ************** which I have been told has been mailed numerous times now. They seem to purposely have a very low level of shared services customer support available and in my opinion their policies and practices should be investigated by the SEC.

  WORST CUSTOMER SERVICES 4 MONTHS STILL TRYING TO GET MY FATHERS 24 SHARES OF AMGEN STOCK MONEY SENT TO MY FATHER . WILL NOT SEND MY FATHER HIS CHECK .LITERALLY 4 MONTHS FILING OUT FORM ************** of attorney two notaries certificates a loss, affidavit loss file paperwork after paperwork still will not give my father his money.

  I have been trying to track down shares in a corporation that the corporation told me were being held by AST. Supposedly AST transferred these shares to the unclaimed property division for the State of *********. When I contacted the State, they indicated that they had no record of the shares being delivered to them. Since then I have been trying repeatedly to get to the bottom of this with AST. They are truly incompetent. I send them emails to the address where I am directed, but no one has bothered to read them. Every time I contact the AST, I have to start all over again and am told there will be an investigation and I should contact back if not heard within a certain period of time. Each time I contact back, no one has any idea about what went on before, and I start over. I did not voluntarily choose to use AST and based on my experience no one ever should. Absolutely terrible operation. While I am required to select a star rating, the company is so bad it should receive a ZERO star.

  Absolute worst brokerage/financial/trust company I've ever dealt with. I inherited shares in a common stock, held by AST Financial. In addition to having an archaic online system for accessing account information, they have zero customer service, and purposefully obfuscate their contact information. A subsequent acquisition by EQ hasn't helped matters, having as all attempts to click on "Contact Us" re-route to EQ, which is of no help since both companies continue to operate independently. Just really stupid.I sold the shares via AST, their archaic system eventually issues a paper check and mails that to you, at least that's what they claim. It's been several weeks and still no check has arrived, for a substantial sum of money I might add. I'm sure had I transferred the shares to an actual functioning brokerage, I would have ran into equally ridiculous dysfunction from AST. So now I'm trying to chase down where my money is and how to get access to it, which is proving to be nearly impossible because this company is so horrendous.DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY! If you have any assets with AST Financial, get them out as quickly as possible.

  AST/Equiniti Trust Company is the worst company to try and do business with. I started in June,2023 to try and get my deceased husbands Textron stock transferred to my name. I have sent his will and our trust agreement that shows all assets transfer to me.Everyone I have spoke to gives me different requirements. it is impossible to speak to a manager in the transfer department. It is now been 10 months and i am right back where I started. I continue to get letters from APA, Abandon Property Advisors, LLC, requesting to find the executor of my husbands estate. I have called them numerous times stating the problem with AST. They said until it transfers to my name, it still shows as no one claiming it. Believe me, I have tried everything. AST is holding the stock certificates I mailed with my original letter of June 27,2023.

  Terrible company to do business with. Stock that my parents owned and I inherited are now managed by AST. They have been difficult to deal with at every step. It took 6 months to change my name. This includes it being changed in some places and not in others, having to submit documentation multiple times, and so, so many phone calls. Don't even think of a change of address. And the customer support people do not speak English very well. I am all for immigration and I am patient with repeating myself. I would appreciate it if ******* would be as patient. If there were ANY other options, I would take them. Looks like the best option is to sell the stock.

  I am the trustee of my mothers trust, mom passed in October. AST is the transfer agent for a stock she held in a trust. First AST told me I needed a court order to transfer ownership of the stock, thats untrue. I am the beneficiary trustee of her trust. I got the court order. I presented them with every possible document, death certificate, trust agreement and court order. Still they find absurd reasons to deny the transfer. This has been going on for 3 months and the fact that they only accept snail mail is nuts. When you call you are on hold for 45 minutes, the person you speak to can only read case notes and cannot see your file. You are never able to speak with anyone who can actually see the paperwork you have submitted. I am likely going to be on this pursuit for forever
