I ordered the subscription from Oar Health in October of 2024. I then cancelled subscription in November of 2024. Now in March 3 2025 another $354? Was taken out of my checking. I have contacted but no luck with their response. I need help to have money refundedBusiness Response

I ordered this medicine from ********* and it was filled by Health Warehouse. I was not asked for insurance information, but I provided a form to be completed after I paid for and received the medicine. Oar Health e-mailed their own documents that did not meet the requirements of my insurance company; however, I sent it to FL Blue anyway. FL Blue rejected the form due to not meeting its criteria.I told Oar Health and asked them again to complete the form. Oar Health now tells me they do not participate with any insurance companies. That's fine, but I'd like to file a claim for the medicine, since that is covered by my health insurance company. They now tell me that Health Warehouse needs to complete the form, which seems strange since they were not the prescriber. Health Warehouse won't respond or act on this request.Oar Health has no published phone number that I can locate; Health Warehouse's number is ************. They are in **. This business sent prescription without a doctors visit. They prescribed a controlled substance without a medical visit. I paid initially for three months of medication. I canceled my subscription online and a year later they renewed it without a doctors visit and sent the prescription without a medical doctors visit. Thank you for sharing your feedback and for trusting Oar Health with your care. We appreciate the opportunity to clarify a few points. While we would normally address these items more fully, we are limited in what we can share to protect our privacy policy.
-The member initially enrolled in a twelve-month plan, not a three-month plan.
-The prescribed medication offered through Oar Health is not a controlled substance. It is ***-approved for its indicated use and is included on the World Health Organizations (WHO) Essential Medicines List (EML).
-At the time of the second shipment, the members prescription remained valid. No additional medical consultation was required.
-We have no record of the member canceling their subscription prior to the shipment date.
-Due to legal requirements, prescription medications cannot be returned or reused once they have left the pharmacys custody.
Nevertheless, as a gesture of goodwill, we issued a full refund to the member on December 14th. We value their input and have taken action to improve clarity by updating the returns policy language on our website. In addition, to help prevent any unwanted shipments or charges, we now send SMS notifications alongside reminder emails before each renewal, giving members ample time to delay or cancel if they wish.

This company is a scam! They intentionally tell you the cost of rx is *****. They dispense and bill a years worth of medication. This is unheard of,my husband is a pharmacist, we owned 5 clinical pharmacies in **. Never in 25 years did we dispense and bill a years worth of meds. They billed me ******, I had a terrible reaction, ****************, dizziness, depersonalization, headache, light and sound sensitivity Among other things, I was sick for about 36 hours after first dose. I tried to reach out to a provider sent 2 messages, absolutely no response! This is malpractice! I cant use the balance of rx (359 pills) and I want a refund for the $******.This is a terrible way to run a company, potentially injuring patients by ignoring emails when in distress. When I contacted customer service via text, ******* ( bot) as in surely we just ripped you off, told me to basically read the fine print its ***** a month billed at once! No physician would have a treatment plan like this. Im going to the ************** as well as the ***, *** and the *** ~ they advertise these lies on tv.Stay away from this company ~ its so bad in many ways beyond the money. . You could be seriously harmed and they are completely unaccountable. I expect a full refund ! *** filed a dispute with my *********** Never let someone take advantage of you like this, they are preying on vulnerable people with addiction issues. I have been trying for weeks to get the information I need from this company to submit my bill to my medical spending account. However, they refuse to provide the exact amount I was charged for my "prescription" alone, which means my account will not reimburse me. Instead, they combine the "membership fee" with the medication cost, which is misleading since I cannot confirm the actual cost of the medication for myself or my medical spending account. I view this response from Oar as nothing more than an attempt to delay the process, avoid accountability, and give the appearance of providing customer support without actually addressing the issue.

Hi. On 7/22/24 I ordered a prescription from oar health. The package was never delivered. I asked for a refund and it was refused even though I never ever received any product or shipment from them at all. I was charged $469.00 and an additional $50.00 charge for a total of $519.00 on my Mastercard ending in ****. I later disputed the card with ********* and they credited me initially. Later on the credit was reversed so I was then charged the $519.00 again, still while never receiving any shipment at all. The invoice number for the $469.00 is as follows #************* The additional $50.00 charge is listed on my credit card statement provided. I requested cancelation of my subscription immediately upon being notified of impending shipment; said shipment has not yet been sent and the company is still refusing not to send it or ship it to me. We bill customers in accordance with our subscription terms, which all customers affirmatively agree to upon signup, and which are publicly available at: *********************************************************.
As the terms state:
Subscription Duration and Automatic Renewals.
Subscription durations may have different ranges depending on your Subscription cycle preference (e.g., monthly, quarterly, bi-annually and annually). Your Subscription will automatically renew at the beginning of each Subscription cycle unless you cancel the Subscription before the beginning of its next cycle. In order to avoid charges to your preferred payment method, you must cancel before a Subscription or Subscription renewal begins. Subscriptions can only be assigned to one user at a time; they cannot be shared. Upon expiration of a Subscription, access will be blocked.
Cancellations
To cancel a Subscription renewal, please log in to your account, navigate to your profile, and select the option to cancel your subscription. I have attempted to get a refund. While on the website. It shown $39 per month for a year. I was not under the assumption it would charge the full year in advance. I immediately messaged the company before it shipped on what happened. Oar didnt respond until after it shipped. Then sent me a message today they do not do refunds. This screams a scam. They have you pay a consultation fee with your credit information then explain a medical advisor will reach out. I signed up for ***'s service, and I took a questionnaire and paid $50.00 for an initial doctors visit. After submitting my payment Chase fraud notified me that OAR Health had just attempted to authorize $237.00. My bank declined the transaction as fraud and I immediately contacted OAR ***************** They don't have a phone number that you can use so your forced to send a message.OAR does not disclose this membership fee any where prior to paying for the doctor, which is a scam. On Nov 15 I enrolled in Oar Healths program, I paid $50 for a medical evaluation and $297 for a prescription, which Ive yet to receive. My primary complaint is that the company doesnt offer any way to speak with someone to help resolve a problem. The phone number listed here is not valid. ************. I see a tracking number for a package which was returned to sender (Nov 18) because the mailing address wasnt sufficient for USPO to deliver. I dont know if that was my error, or the shipping person from Oar Health, but it would seem logical that a shipping person would be required to check an address before sending an **. The original shipment address was missing the street info. When I didnt receive the ** by the date Nov 26 as shown on my patient portal, I sent multiple emails and messages through the portal, advising them of this problem. I finally received an email several days later, advising me of a new tracking number, with a delivery date of Dec 2. When this second package didnt arrive, I checked and the tracking which shows delivery completed to an address in *******. I never provided an address in ******* as I live in ********, so Im not sure whats going on now. *** sent messages again asking for someone to please help me get this straightened out, I received an auto reply, and so now Im asking that someone from this company research this issue and call me to advise how this will be resolved within a reasonable period of time. *** spent hours trying to just get in touch with someone. The information on the patient portal is wrong, still showing the old tracking from the item returned to sender, and there isnt any way to contact them outside of email. Im hoping this company is legitimate, I did research before making the choice to work with them, but Im frustrated now that I still havent received the meds.Business Response
