I found out my vehicle was towed at 11am, I immediately called the towing company because I had my car GPS, and he answered the phone very angrily and would not answer any questions and kept saying you have to come in. I went there at 12:30pm and I wanted to see the ticket I got on my car for the blocked driveway, but I was not allowed near my car or allowed to even inspect it until I paid. I asked to see pictures of the tow and they had questionable pictures at an angle to make it seem like I was blocking it, THEN was told I have to pay in CASH only and that they cant take credit card or zelle, I looked up online and legally they had to accept credit card, but was told don't belive anything on the internet. and at one point I kept asking questions about the tow and the cost and the guy just keep silent and said its up to his boss who wasn't there. I had work and a meeting so I gave up and just went to a ATM to pay 275 in cash so I can drive off with my car. THEY DID NOT WANT TO GIVE ME A RECEIPT OR ANYTHING, TOLD ME HE HAS NONE TO GIVE ME. $275 is more than double what I should have been charged legally, should have been $125.
