This business towed my car on Friday afternoon. I called Saturday morning to pick up my car and the dispatcher informed me they are closed until Monday morning and there's nothing I can do until then, so now they are effectively holding my car hostage and racking up fees to charge me for additional days. I call them on Monday and am told they are open over the weekend and I could have picked up my carcomplete scammers, totally crooked, and taking advantage of people. Person over phone was rude, dishonest, and mocking me. Upon picking up my car, told to pay cash and not given any receipt and my car is making a strange noise that I will have to get inspected. How this business is legally operating is beyond me.Customer Answer

2/7/2025 This business is a scam. It preys on car accident victims. Stay away if *** approaches you once your vehicle comes out of the **** Carry tunnel/ Battery tunnel. He recovered my vehicle on a Wednesday night from the front of his yard. He told my wife $85 a day. Car was driven into his yard, not towed. Next day I wanted my car. He tried to convince me to leave it there but I wanted it at my body shop. He said $300. We set up a pickup and at time of pick up he said its now late so we postponed until 7am the next morning. At 730am he then said $385 and refused to release my car until I paid cash. This was supposed to be a $170 service that doubled. I had No choice but to pay him since he was holding my vehicle. ***** on this business. Taking advantage of women that get into car accidents. Ill probably never see a partial refund but I can at least keep others from falling victim to this scam artist.Customer Answer

I was in a car accident and the **** called the Redhook Recovery *** to tow my car off the road because I can't move the car. After signing the release form of my car, he did not reach out to my insurance company ***** to arrange to pick my car to transfer to ******************. Myself and ***** have tried multiple times to get the tow fee from Redhook Recovery so they can transfer my car. Redhook Recover ignore all our calls or during call he will put us on hold and hang up. They're holding my car hostage and racking up storage fee. When I was at the storage yard, there was another customer said they will not release his car unless they pay them cash. They're scamming people and pounding people's car. I've reach out the to **** office that was on my accident case, she said there is nothing they can do and I need to file a civil case. I just want to get my car our of that storage and get it fix.Customer Answer
