On or about 5/16/2024 I made payment of $175.99 to AXVoice to secure VoIP phone service for the period of one year from that date. At this time I was directed to select a number from a list of available numbers which I did *************). I received the equipment on or about 5/21 and proceeded after to purchase a phone to be able to use the system. When calling my supplied number I only received a busy signal and disconnect. I could call out from that number without incident and the correct number would show up on the receiving phone's caller ID *************) and that number showed up as mine on my online dashboard. I contacted technical support and they claimed that my number was a different one and it was now changed on my dashboard. I have gone back and forth with them about this with no satisfaction. I then began receiving emails that they had tried charging my credit card additional charges and it didn't go through so they were going to suspend my service. I fully paid for a year in advance and wasn't notified there would be added charges. I feel that a bait-and-switch technique was used on me, unauthorized charges have been attempted, the customer service has been dismal, and at this point I have no faith that this will be resolved without your intervention. I wish I had read the many negative reviews before getting involved with this unethical business. I would like to cancel service and have my money fully refunded.Customer Answer

signed up for phone service with axvoice on December 28th 2023, paid money to the company but now it seems like each person i talk too has a different answer as to what i paid for, some say i paid for two months of service plus activation, others say i paid for shipping and handling and hardware charges and im not sure what a hardware charge is and that i paid for a month of service not two months of service up front, one person says i paid ***** another says it was **** well **** is what is on there website so im not sure what the ***** is for i have already talked to the division of consumer protection in my state who advised i reach out to BBB to get a better answer on ******* 3rd they tried to bill my card again for **** and again a variety of answers, some are claiming that its a second charge for December but the thing is that i did not receive my equipment until Jan 4th **** and others are saying that its a bill for ******* but even then its split some say the full bill and some say prorated. this whole situation just reeks of something very bad and very suspicious but what i would like to know is how they could even bill me for December if i had no equipment? how that the billing information can switch from agent to agent and why even my bank says there's something wrong here. my bank will not clear more charges as axvoice is apparently on some list the bank has as suspicious and considering i cant get a straight answer out of them and considering that my states consumer protection is also getting odd answers well something needs to be done about my disconnected servicesCustomer Answer

I prepaid for phone service for 1 year. I placed the order on 12/7/2022 and that went smooth. I began getting notices that my credit card was expring, END OF MAY 2023, but they shut down my number even though my account is current as my ***** is not until 12/2023 They had no reason to shut down my number as no moeny is owed for a renewal until 12/2023.My account ID and number number with their service is:USER ID *********** PHONE ********** I have sent emails to all listed emails with no response.Initial Complaint

Company has not held to the terms of service I paid for. I paid for telephone service, I have not ever been able to make an outgoing call, incoming worked. Many frustrating hours with their tech department over a years span, did not fix the issue. Had to change vendor, new service working in minutes. Now they are attempting to extort money from me to pay for the device that never worked, I have the device ready to return to them upon receipt of their shipping label.Initial Complaint

I have a telephone number with AxVoice that I want to port to a different company. I need an account number and PIN to be able to do so. ********************** will not respond to my several requests (via their website and email) to give me this information so that I can port my number. They do not list a telephone number to call; the only contact is online. They also do not give my account number or PIN anywhere on their site when I log in. (I've checked copies of my bill, etc.) I feel like they are holding my phone number 'hostage'. I have had this number for nearly 15 years, and it is important to me to keep it. They have charged my card they have on file unauthorized charge of ***** and I have been trying to get a refund from them over 3 weeks now and now since I posted a negative feed back on tbe company and they send me a email refusing to refund my money until I have it removed. False ************* ******* promotes on their website that phone equipment would be free. However, they fail to adequately disclose that the equipment is in fact not free and subject to a $39.99 fee should you cancel the service at any time. My equipment was defective. ******* wanted to charge me $29.99 to replace the defective "free" equipment. I instead opted to cancel the service and not pay a fee for free equipment.Customer Answer
