Provided credit card information and chose a plan. I have been denied access to the site. I have made two attempts to contact Fitness singles directly and have received no communication from them. I am feeling that they are not acting in good faith.Business Response

This site is a scam. I haven’t been able to login st all. Customer service is weak. Nobody helping. Paid $79 and it’s not even working They are sending messages to trick us and have a lot of scammers on their site. I want to cancel my profile, get the rest of my money back.Business Response

I signed up because it was advertised as a dating site for those who love sports/fitness. Kept getting emails about receiving messages but their website doesn’t function and cannot even delete my account. After reading other reviews I realize it’s a scam. Didn't get what I paid for. I was a "free" member and then received emails saying I had unread messages from a few women who were nearby, attractive and around my age. I decided to pay for a subscription since you have to be a member to read and reply to messages. I then found that two of the profiles were completely gone. This company uses a deceptive tactic of conflating "messages" with "indicators of interest" even though they are both referred to as "messages" when you receive the email notification. They say you need a membership to read and reply to messages, so naturally you would assume that any message you received is from a paying member. Not the case. Free members can send an "indicator of interest" and you will see this described as a "message" with no way of knowing the person could never read or reply to your message once you sign up and pay the fee. I saw profiles where the age said they were more than 10 years older than what the user described themselves in their bio. So the account had been dormant for a decade. These accounts were among those suggested to me on the home page as "matches". Those people were never logging in again and the company knows this but keeps the profiles to boost numbers and make it seem like you have more potential matches. This site also has a senior user base. I'm nearly 40 and almost every user is considerably older than me or a thousand miles away. Another problem with this site is they "manually review" anything you do in your profile. They take hours to approve new photos added to your account. Then when I changed my main photo to one of these already approved photos, there is another approval process taking a whole day leaving me with a gray profile photo and reducing any chance of matches with the severely limited user base. I wanted a full refund for this awful and deceptive experience. It's been over 5 years that I cancelled with Fitness single. I only signed up for 3 months trial and I'm still bombarded with emails daily. I started using their platform assuming it was a serious dating site. I discovered very quickly that numerous profiles are fake as can be proven by running the profile pictures through reverse image searches. Serious platforms should take at least some precautionary measures in an attempt to avoid this. So subscribers be aware!Business Response

April 6, 2024 55.95 CDN Membership for an online dating site Requested a refund 24 hours later after purchase date and refund is being refused. Contact was made through email on April 7 via their "contact form" on the website. No phone number is listed anywhere on their website. I received an email today April 9, 2024. Any company that I have ever dealt with has had a "grace period" of at least 1 business day usually more. I could not find their terms and conditions anywhere on their website. I have contacted the business via phone on April 9 and was told a message woyld be sent to upper management for a callback . I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********. They are asking for more deatils. The only further details I want to provide is the fact that I did log into my account afther requested refund was requested in order to delete ALL information from the website. This seems to be an impossible process?? The reason for cancelling is a very sensitive personal one which I do not want to disclose and do not want to get into the details. As it can be deemed " life threatening" So will not discuss further!! I made the request less than 24 hours after I was charged the fees thefore I would think that there is a "grace period" as most busines have evan if stated non refundadble in their "terms and conditions" That is just good bussiness sense...my opinion.***** ******

I joined December 8 2023. I signed up for Fitness Singles to get matched to my profile, which included people in my own area, same ethnicity, same religion etc, but was very rarely getting that. I was mostly matched to people the total opposite of my profile. Twice I emailed them about this and they said I needed to fill out my profile which I had from the beginning, but they weren't sending me matches for that. They ignored my request and just said we don't refund, but I never saw a no refund policy, but regardless of that, I paid to get something they were not honoring on my end. They never tried to remedy and basically ignored my request to give me what I paid for.Business Response
