We purchased a new RV in September of 2023. Upon getting it home we noticed many issues and the lack of craftsmanship. The camper has been nothing but issues and when we contacted and met with them regarding getting things handled they were wonderful. It was definitely a show and had fooled us. Fast forward to October when we dropped it off, we heard nothing back until late November when we pushed for an update that was simply that they haven,t touched it. We never had a real answer or information regarding the camper until February of 2024. They constantly claimed they didn't have the parts to do a few of the jobs. Fast forward to April of 2024 and we received the camper back unfinished and with more damages than we had given it to them with( including damages to interior doors, electrical outlets pushed in the wall and our sewer line hanging from the underneath of the camper that is also pulling the under belly down. We once again had to have them take the camper back and the insisted they would get everything fixed this time around properly. This was on April 18 when they picked it back up. As of May 2 they still had not started on it after giving us the time estimate of 2 weeks all while knowing we had a trip planned for may 10. We were contacted on may 8 and informed they once again don't have parts to finish the jobs and won't be able to get our camper back to us completed. We had them redeliver it to us not completed once again!! They also told us if they delivered it on Friday may 10 in the afternoon that it was our fault if we didn't go camping that day...We have 2 small kids 4 and 1, unacceptable. Fast forward to this camping trip and we have run into even more issues that we are sure were intentional at this point. Our awning is now leaking, our entire underbelly has standing water in it due to something leaking, our light fixture over the dining table fell and our shower head continues to leak. They also ignore emails and refuse to compensate any way

We bought a new 2023 camper in May, 2023. From the first camping trip until the last, we had major problems with the camper. We were unable to bring the camper home from the first weekend because the motor burned out on the awning. We had to leave it at the campground and beg Meyers to come out and fix it on Monday so we could go back and get it. We kept a list of problems and parts that were missing when we picked up the camper. We were told that at the end of the camping season, we could bring it back for all the repairs. ONE of major problems was the whole side panel on the front of the camper was cracked in several places. This was a structural problem and we asked that it be returned to the factory to be replaced. We dropped the camper off in October, 2023 to be repaired. It was sent to Forest River in Indiana in January. The day it returned to NY, we went to look at it, and it was cracked again! It was then that we found out this was the second time it had been repaired. We knew someone owned the camper for a couple of months prior to us buying it. We were told, "he is too picky and the camper didn't work for him". Then to find out that they had already fixed the cracks once was just sneaky and untrue on their part. We received the whole song and dance from Nick stating, "we will get it back there right away and get it fixed" The camper went back in February and since that time, we have not been able to get any straight answers from anyone! We actually got a call from Forest River because they could not get in touch with anyone in Bath to get answers either. Needless to say, Nick is now working at another location so we had to go through everything again with Kyle. He was great for 1 day. Apologetic and I'll call you back (which he did twice the first day). Now nothing. Despite leaving messages for 2 days. Our camper has been gone for 8 months and we have had to cancel 2 trips so far, and have several more camping trips scheduled. Help

My husband and I purchased our very first RV from Meyers of Syracuse in April of 2022. Being that the purchase was for an used RV we did not expect perfection-all used products have wear n tear. After purchase it was brought to our attention, through photos that friends had taken, that there was extensive patching and calking on the roof of our RV. Upon further inspection, the enclosed pictures tell us there was previous damage to the roof that carried on into the RV. We would not have purchased this particular RV with all this damage-had there been disclosure. I have been in communication with the GM at the Syracuse location and have several emails back and forth. We are in correspondence with a different location. They are addressing the warranty issues. An email from the GM at Meyers Syracuse stated he would help with the bill. I have not heard from him since. I did receive the customer appraisal sheet from Meyers where the previous owner indicated the roof was in good shape. Being that the roof was in poor condition, I can only assume this would have been a determining factor with the trade in value. Meyers must have known of the damage to the roof-used as a determination for trade in value. I have numerous emails from the GM at Meyers from last summer. Since them communications have ended. Please contact me for any additional information. We are simply looking for replacement of the roof to ensure the RV will last for a while.

We put a deposit on a new camper had a written deal on trading our 2020 on a 2023. We were working with Bob in their finance department that discovered some issues with our credit. We immediately contacted our bank and discovered it was 100% a banking errors that they reported. A letter was sent to Meyer’s RV and the bank worked on fixing the issue. The last conversation we had with Bob is that all was fixed on our credit and we were good to go with the deal. We then stopped into the RV store only to be told our new camper was stolen. At that point a lengthy conversation with manager CJ happened and he said they would find us a camper. Now a few months have gone by with us keeping in contact and they are telling us they can’t honor our deal and will not do our trade in for what we had agreed on. We were never told The camper was stolen until we walked in to what we thought to finalize the deal in Dec 2023. They kept telling us they couldn’t find the same camper and year however my husband called them about 3 one being on one of their other lots and they never called us back just promised to call back. Now they say deal has been off and on top of it all I would have thought if the deal was off when the camper was stolen in 2023 we would have gotten our deposit back but no they still have our money. In the meantime we lost on another deal because we weren’t aware that they weren’t going to honor the deal that was agreed on. Owning a business we can’t always satisfy everyone but we have never in 25+ years went back on our word without having a sit dow talk with our customers but for 3 months they have continued to tell us they are looking for a camper so we have patiently waited and now today they say they can sell and trade our camper but not at the agreed price. What kind of scam do they have going on at this company. Who knows can’t get a manger to call back.

This was at meyers rv in madison, oh. We were in the process of looking for a camper and finally found one that we liked. We discussed the price and went back and forth on things and finally came to an agreement. We also confirmed that this was the exact camper we would get and we were told they will be placing a sold sign on the unit as soon as we were done with paperwork. We then proceeded to give a deposit and set up a date for final walk through, payment, and pickup. Upon starting the final walk through I was cautious and meticulous with checking things over but things were starting to seem and look odd to me were not adding up. I got to the inside and was basically the last straw and confronted them about the issues I was seeing. Luckily I had taken a few pictures from when we first were out and decided on the camper and placed a deposit. The pictures confirmed my suspicion that it was not the same camper. When I confronted them about the problem I was told these exact words "This is a different camper but the same model so that we could meet the price point". Completely astounded by the response that I was given and could not believe it. If not for my suspicion and pictures they would've pulled a bait and switch on us. There was no denial, nothing other than them completely trying to pull a bait and switch. Absolutely disgusted with the situation and company.

In September of 2023 we purchased a new 5th wheel camper from Meyer's RV in Bath. Our sales person was Joe W****** and we also worked with two manager, Alex (last name unknown) and Jamie M*****. Meyers secured financing for the sale through *** bank on our behalf after we put 10% down but they miscalculated (or were negligent in their research) the fees associated with getting the RV tagged and titled in our home state of Delaware. Approximately one month after we brought the RV home with a temp tag someone named Amanda called to state she had sent the tag/title paperwork to the wrong DMV location and asked if she could send me the packet and have me walk it in for them. I was happy to do this. At this time she also asked if I was going to pay the Delaware doc fee at which time I told her this was discussed with Joe and Alex and all fees were supposed to be included in the deal. She said she would need to get a check cut and send the packet. Shortly after this I started getting calls from Jamie and Alex stating they didn't know about the Delaware fees and asking me how I would like to pay for them. I informed them that I was already at maximum budget and that it was already negotiated into the deal. Over the course of two weeks they kept calling me trying to get me to pay the 4.25% doc fee and I refused. Their only defense was to say they google searched Delaware RV sales tax and thought there were no fees. This isn't true. They finally said they will take it to the general manager and he might want to come take the trailer back which I said was fine. The GM has not reached out and Meyers has been silent since 11/13/23. I've tried making contact and even had an attorney send a letter asking for information. All ignored. Right now we have a trailer sitting parked with an expired temp tag, no registration and no title and nobody from the dealership willing to communicate with us. I feel as though BBB is our last resort before being forced to take legal action.

We purchased the camper in October of 2022 at the RV show. We signed all of the paperwork and the camper went back to Caledonia NY for storage until the spring of 2023 when it was delivered. We barely used the camper this past summer and had it parked at a campground for convenience but we didn't run the A/C or Heat at all. We discovered a hole in the window when we brought the camper back home and I called, left messages and emailed the business (9/25) and received a call back on 9/26 from Brittany. I was told the window is not covered under warranty but we purchased a protection plan that may cover it. We were getting the camper ready for winter and the heater started spontaneously without turning on the thermostat so we called Meyer's again and talked about driving the 1-1/2 hours to have both the window and the heater now looked at and this was 10/10, called 4 times and finally left a message for Brittany to please just make an appointment and we'll be there, just call me back with the details. On 10/11 called 1 time and asked again for a call back. We were told we had to talk to Brittany, no one else and that if we left a message, she would call back. I called again on 10/19 2 times and 10/20 and to date, there has been no call back. In addition, I've emailed the website to submit a request for service on 10/20 and 10/25. I would like the money back that was included in our finance agreement for service as the business refuses to acknowledge our requests. There was $2,997 for service contract, $1,799 for paint protection, $910 for roadside assistance and $779 for tire and wheel protection for a grand total of $6,485. Please help.
