My sons sent me an arrangement for my 65th birthday. Only three of the roses bloomed. The peonies never opened and all of the other flowers died without blooming. I know they paid quite a bit for this but it was disappointing that most of the flowers died by the second day without even blooming. I would suggest ordering from a local florist and having your bouquets delivered that way instead of using 1-800-flowers.

I placed an order on April 30 for a corsage and boutonniere for my daughter's senior prom on May 3rd. Delivery was 8pm on May 2nd. I received the email confirming the purchase and delivery date. On May 2nd, in the early afternoon I received an email saying that delivery was attempted and that they would attempt redelivery by 8pm. That was a lie because I checked my ring video doorbell and no one came to our door to deliver. I checked their automated chat, it said it was to be delivered by 8pm. I checked a 2nd time a little after 7pm, again it said by 8pm. It did not get delivered. I couldn't reach back till after midnight. I was chatting with a live agent and was told that what I ordered was unavailable. They couldn't give me any other info besides sending a message to the flower shop the next morning or rescheduling another order which would not work, I needed it in 12 hours for May 3rd. I called customer service over the phone. That agent tells me the flower shop cancelled the order. All this time, no one reached out to tell me. I was the one that had to investigate. They did not help me. She told me she would have a manager call me. I gave a different number for a call back but they called me at the phone number on the order which was not available for call back. I had to pray that a florist would have a corsage and boutonniere available within hours and thank God I found one. I ended up paying $20 more for last minute order. No call or email from them and they didn't even process a refund for an order they charged me for and didn't deliver. I was the one that had to call back again almost 24 hours after I called them and told them nothing was delivered to ask for a refund. The agent offered me redelivery and a $15 credit, I laughed and declined because the prom was over at this point. I reached out via chat, social media, chat, phone. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM OR YOU'LL BE LEFT STRANDED FOR YOUR IMPORTANT EVENT. THEY DO NOT CARE!!!!!!!!!!

Ordered Flowers, balloons and a cake from the website for delivery for my daughter's birthday on 4/29. I paid an extra shipping fee to guarantee delivery on that date. Received confirmation that the electronic order was in , but nothing arrived all day. After 5 phone calls was told to keep waiting. Even after the 8pm delivery window nothing had arrived. In three of the phone calls I was disconnected. Called again first thing this morning, and after over an hour on the phone and two hangups, was told by a supervisor that the Florist yesterday didn't have the items I ordered, but they were going to send it through another local vendor and guaranteed delivery for today 4/30. A short while ago, I received a voicemail telling me that the second vendor didn't have the items, so nothing could be delivered today either. I was disconnected twice, and am now waiting for another agent to call me back so that she could process a credit. I didn't want the credit...I wanted what I'd ordered to be delivered to my daughter for her birthday yesterday. The order was being sent to *****, where I am sure there would have been some vendor who had the items, but clearly 1-800-Flowers doesn't communicate to confirm that the vendors can supply what the website offers. My issues: False representation of what they are able to offer for sale and shoddy customer service from agents who were unwilling or unable to help. I would never use them again and recommend that others learn from my bad experience.

I cannot even give them a star .I ordered flowers a week before the event. Tracked delivery day before and morning of delivery date saying it would be delivered. It was not I called they told me they could not fulfill my order. The took my money I had to call back several times being transferred all around the country. I ultimately called the bank filing a fraudulent charge due to no delivery. I also contacted corporate they scripted from their manual so sorry for your frustration we will give you $15.00 off your next order I heard this 5 times from multiple people and countries. They assume after all i went through I would actually order again. There advertisement is obviously a bait and switch. They degrade the consumer with their script and assumption that they would order from them again.

Wilted, falling apart. Arrangement was terrible. Some of the roses looked old and had ***** spots on them. Wanted to check in the delivery time status, tried using automated chat first, that was pointless. Kept saying I have already given you that information. No you didnt. Then called to talk to CSR, even though they tried, there was a language barrier and they couldnt tell me what I needed to know. I dont always approve of outsourcing for customer service. Sometimes you need to be able to communicate specific information that falls between the cracks when you are not so fluent in a language. We have given 1-800-Flowers many chances over the last few years and its not like it used to be. More than 3/4 of our experiences with them have been disappointing in one way or another. When you want a reimbursement they try not to. Several times. And one time I got it, it was only partial. I wish I could leave pictures. This will definitely be our last time using the company for our floral needs. I would rather take the time to research a good local florist wherever my loved ones are and pay the extra money.

My daughter and her bf were really excites to echange their prom corsage and bootiner. The flowers on these are terrible. The flower on the corsage came off the hot glue within 10 min. Mind you, my daughter and her boyfriendwere only taking pictures. The bootiner also fell apart after 30 minutes. Whoever made these did a terrible job.

1 star is still too many. I submitted an order and they call me later on to tell me they can't complete it unless I pay an additional 30+$. They then inform me after I had an issue with that; they could cover 10$ of it. After over an hour on the phone, mostly on hold they suddenly can cover 20$ of it. I caring more that flowers actually show up approve the 11$ difference. For them to hours later cancel the order all together and not tell me and i have not received a refund. This is beyond terrible customer service and I will never be doing business with them ever again.

Unreliable, rigid, and absolutely unacceptable.I placed a $110 flower order with 1-800-Flowers two days in advance for my fiancs birthday. The flowers were supposed to be delivered to her workplace, which closes at 5 PM. They had eight full hours to deliver. They ********* 3:30 PM, nothing had arrived. I called and was told it would be there before 5. I called again at 4:30this time I was told it was arriving momentarily. Still nothing. I called a third time at 4:45 because my fianc was about to leave work. I asked to cancel the order and was told Id have to wait until exactly 5 PM to cancel. Seriously? At 4:55 PM, the delivery driver called and said he was 15 minutes awaywell past the time shed be at work. Meanwhile, Im sitting in my car with my fianc, having to tell her that the surprise flowers I ordered never arrived. The moment was ruined. What made this worse was the completely tone-deaf policy and lack of basic common sense. I had to sit on the phone with a *** until 5 PM just to get a refund, even though the delivery window had clearly already been missed. The ***, ******, didnt seem to understand the situation no matter how many times I explained it.This wasnt just a late delivery. It was a total failure in planning, communication, and customer service. They contradicted themselves on every call, made no effort to fix the issue in real time, and showed no accountability. Just rigid policies and empty reassurances.I will never use 1-800-Flowers again. You had one joband you failed.

Ordered for an ill friend in FLA (I'm in **). Ordered 4/18 for 4/22 delivery. 4/22 and 23 came and went. I called Cust Svc 4/22 after delivery hours (9:30p.m.) and they could see/do nothing...system maintenance in process. They were told it would take 24 hrs. Apologies, apologies and they'd get back as soon as they could. I demanded and got a refund of my shipping. 4/23, no delivery. I called the morning of the 24th, apologies, apologies and "its out for delivery now". They were actually delivered while we were talking (10:02a.m.). I did finally get another discount (as opposed to the refund I sought) and pretty flowers were finally received. They also issued a $15 discount on my next order. No thanks. This was my first and last order. I gave 2 stars rather than 1 because the Cust Svc **** were very nice and, I'm sure, worked within the parameters they were bound by. My complaint is with THE COMPANY, not the *******.

1-800-FLOWERS provides the WORST most unreliable flower delivery service ever. After multiple attempts at trying to do business with them, I simply can't any longer. I hope they really work on improving their reliability because they've missed out on some really critical life moments for me. If you need flowers delivered for an important life event, do NOT choose 1-800-FLOWERS.
