Overcharge for number of sheets of plywood - house only uses 30 sheets was charged for 65 sheets 1/2x4x8 @ $90 per sheet According to two contractors house will only use 30-33 sheets. I was charged for 65 sheets - also poorly installed gutters When asked for of contract they sent one of recently reprinted one with my name and date ??? not my signatureBusiness Response

Hello *****, We will be reaching out to this customer as his house ended up being a cedar shake, this house was needing to be sheeted- which standard is 3 sheets of 4x8 plywood equals one square. This house was a total of 28sq of the house is what we did per his contract. I have attached his change order that he signed back on the day of the roof install showing he was being charged for 69 sheets of plywood.Initial Complaint

Buffalo's Best Roofing Co. promised one thing verbally, then delivered a completely different result from what was discussed. Different in writing & then in Deed. Instead of installing the soffit identical to the one we both agreed to, along with replacement of the fascia board as discussed with the gutter repair, they did a sub standard job & simply put up a cheap piece of wood & piece of replacement gutter, pulling down & destroying (cutting) my camera wires in the process. There was supposed to be "built-out" to add soffit. They moved the psoition of my cameras so that they don't point in the right direction anymore. I never agreed to pay BBR $3500.00 for the sub-standard gutter installation that they performed. Real soffit was supposed to be added. Replacing the destroyed wires & repositioning the now misdirected cameras is costing me in excess of $2400.00. BBR needs to compensate me for their mistake.Customer Answer

In March 2021 we put a deposit down for a new stamped concrete patio and new concrete driveway on the side of the garage with the promise of having a new patio by May 2021. For over $12,000.00 we trusted the job would be completed as promised. It took all of spring and most of the summer to complete. We waited daily to see if anyone would show up, sometimes they did sometimes they didn't. I could go on about the disappointments from start to finish, but we were patient. Finally completed July 26,2021. When spring came, March 2022 the concrete was flaking and peeling. We reached out March 8, 2022 with pictures requesting for repair without a response. We reached out several times after and we were told that we are on the service board and they were just waiting for the weather to break, then finally told it was bad concrete and they would repair. Then…there was an issue with the concrete company and we would receive a refund to hire someone else. We still have not seen a check. When they poured the concrete for the driveway, it was then covered with plastic and left to dry in the rain, poured too high, now the gate won’t open out. They ran out of concrete before finishing later to fill the hole like a pot hole, then just removed the plastic and called it a day. Now March 2023 and no resolution. The flaking is worse and our new patio does not look new. Our driveway looks like we hired a bunch of 10-year-olds and the gates are still not properly put together. We were really hoping we would be taken seriously. It has been frustrating, no one communicates. March 2021 we started, March 2022 we were promised a resolution, now March 2023... At this point, we do not trust Buffalo’s Best to complete the job, we are not falling for their empty promises. We will be looking for a full refund so we can hire another company to tear up the bad concrete and start fresh. We will be going to multiple action sights until we have the new patio we paid for.Business Response

Better Business Bureau: I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below I am trying to follow up with the company. I have reached out and requested a plan of action via email without success. There has been some communication but, to date, we have not come to a mutual agreement. On Tuesday, 4/11 the equipment was dropped off in my yard, on Thursday, 4/13 1/3 of the bad concrete was torn up but no one has been by or reached out since. Please keep this case open until an offer is made in writing and accepted. My hopes ae this does not take the entire summer again. Regards, ***** *******Customer Answer

We had our roof done starting 4/26/21 about 2 days before our job was scheduled I received a call saying that the price went up regardless of the contract. We told them we didn't have the $5000 extra and we would have to push the job off and in the meantime we would have a lawyer look over the contract since it stated nothing about prices vary to change. Right away the situation changed & they said they would do the job for the agreed price stated. The day of the job came and we were told a supervisor would be present so I can ask questions and get clear understanding on what was taking place. Well that never happened. About 3-4 people showed up in a unmarked van non of which spoke English at all. They threw the garbage wrappers and drink bottles throughout my yard regardless of trash cans being right there I called the supervisor Aaron right away started throwing a fit because i didn't believe these guys were legit They ripped off my roof with no tarp covering my siding damaging it with tar and holes. Aaron proceeding to have it cleaned off even after being told he was smearing it and making it worst. The next time they came out they insisted on nailing wood to my neighbors house which unethical and we were against. After expressing our frustrations Aaron threatened to pull his crew off the job, put a lien on our house, and call the inspector office. So we called for them. Found out there was no permit pulled for the job, they never contacted their office for inspection of the work on our house. When the city inspector came out he threatened to pull their license for incomplete work. They came and finished it but job was marked unsatisfactory by the city. Inspector told us we had to give them time to replace our siding and fix our roof. Nothing has been done. Another company came in and said because the damages the entire peak would have to be torn off and rebuilt. we want the job to be finished roof & siding but not by them due to constant problems and frustrationBusiness Response

Business Owner relayed to BBB:This is the first time I have heard from her. She spoke to my project manager. In my system it is showing cancelled so I thought we were done. I have spoken with her. I had sent some guys over to check it out. I am taking care of it now.
