Ingalls Plumbing and Heating Complaint 1st Contract signed with Ingalls Plumbing and Heating on 6-26-2022 to do 5 things at *** **** **., a book store with apt. above. Took 67 % down payment $8259 on my credit card .The work was to install 3 mini split heat pumps, redo a flooded bathroom completely, and redo an antiquated electric panel and wiring. The only work he has done on all of these to date was to remove the toilet and begin installing one mini split. That 6-26-2022 when we gave him the $8259 was the last we saw of him even though we called and messaged him the whole time, till 33 days later, 7-29-2022. That 7-29-2022 was his only work day ever here. Only 1 day worked in over 50 days. I tried to call and text him to come and do the work right along . He finally showed up and worked that one evening a month later on 7-29-2022, partially starting to install one mini split heat pump. Each of the mini split heat pumps was going to be $3300 installed. That was the only day he showed up to do any work. That one installation is very incomplete to say the least. It sits unfastened up on cinder blocks , has no plastic sheathing on the wires, the condensation tube is not present and drips right on the outside unit from 10 feet above. To top that off, we just found out Ingalls hooked this unit up to the bottom book store's electric, not the upstairs apartment electric. So the book store owner in paying for the apartment's electric bill. It will have to be deinstalled and run upstairs to the correct electric meter. We will get an estimate from a reputable installer such a* *********** ******** to see how much they will charge to correct all the errors of the Ingalls installation. On that only day of work 7-29-2022 he said he needed more money to proceed , and I was nervous about that as he would have been almost paid in full and I really didn't trust him anymore. But to keep things going, Video of Install Below https://*******.com
