  From a zoomed-out lens, AHS did a wowing job remodeling 1,200 square feet of our home, including kitchen, bathroom, and 3 bedrooms. We chose AHS because they had done many jobs like this before and were easy to talk to. They consistently responded with compassion and listening, and did not get defensive. I give them a 10 out of 10 for approachability. I unfortunately wouldn't work with them again for detailed finishing work: - The flooring wasn't well-leveled - There were horizontal gaps between the flooring and the baseboards. They "fixed" it by caulking over it. - Grout was left on the surfaces of the tile. - The floors, handles, shower curtain, etc. had paint splatter - Caulking in general seemed to be a struggle - wide, bumpy, and messy. - Under-sink plumbing experienced a large leak which damaged the inside of our new cabinets. - When sanding our steps, they did not tape around our railing, and therefore sanded away a portion of the bottoms of the railing. - They drilled multiple holes for multiple cabinet handles on multiple cabinet doors, so the cabinet handles have holes and chipped paint underneath or above them. 3 cabinet doors are affected. These are brand new and definitely not cheap. Sad. We made a great effort (in our mind) to bring up these issues as they arose, at some point, it became exhausting for individual details. We felt we had too many "please can you improve this" conversations (which were always handled compassionately from AHS's side), and just had to pick our battles & let things go. The project was already taking a month longer than its 8-week original timeline, and we were so tired. Between the two of us, we vowed to redo on our own time the details where we could see AHS Remodeling either was not able to accomplish due to skill level, or was rushing to finish --- yet, it's a lot to redo.   So thankful for AHS Remodeling! We lost our furnace and hot water tank to flood damage. They were able to get in quickly and replace both in the same day. They also raised the appliances to avoid a flood should it happen again! Work was efficient, environment was left clean, and they went above and beyond my expectations!
