Date of transaction 10/8/22. I started the transition on 10/7/22 at 4:00 pm I paid the business 37,063.50 I was to purchase a 2019 *** ******** for 22,995.00 I put a down payment of 10,400.00 on the vehicle. I purchased the vehicle over two days. The salesperson was eating lunch when I went for my appointment on 10/8/22 at 1:00 pm. He had yet to work on any paperwork for the purchase. I had to leave at 2:30 for an appointment and returned at 4:00 pm. He still had yet to work on the sale at that point. The purchase price of the vehicle was 22,995.00 minus the 10,400.00. The total purchase/finance price should have been 12,595.00. I waited in the showroom all day. The sale was not completed until after 6:00 pm. For them to take the down payment on my debit card, they required me to write a positive review of the dealership on ******. Additionally, I was instructed to use cellular data, not the dealership's wi-fi. I was not shown any paperwork and was instructed to sign on a small tablet. After signing the paperwork, I was informed that the vehicle had a recall, and I was to bring it to a *** dealership to repair it. Instead, I was rushed out of the dealership once the sale was completed. On October 11, 2022, the starter died on the car, which had to be towed to a local *** dealership. It took about five days to repair. After looking closely at the printed paperwork, I discovered that I was charged 26,863.50. In addition, I was charged an upfront charge of 6,132.50 for an extended warranty. This was not disclosed to me before I purchased the car. The Truth in Lending Act (TILA) of 1968 stipulates that lenders must fully disclose the nature and amount of any prepaid finance charges before asking consumers to sign a contract. This is a federal law implemented by the Federal Reserve Board's Regulation Z, which protects consumers from unscrupulous creditors. Lenders that don't comply with the law may face fines. I want a refund for the 6,132.50+taxes on this warranty
