            I brought my cat -****** to the Veterinary Services of CNY- I was I Italy told it was $500 and from what was explained to me it would be for diagnostic which from talking to the person I believed was for X-ray and blood work as I explained I went there for that purpose. It took 3 hrs- and I was told it would now be 1500 for said X-ray and blood work- I felt pressured and like I had no option as I already paid $500- for what idk… so I was told it would be 1500 for diagnostic… after that 3 hrs later they called and told me it will now be $5000 for diagnostic- this is with zero treatment… at that point I decided to take my cat and leave- it took them two hrs to give me my cat back even though they were doing nothing with him. I ended up paying $1600- they make you pay in advance their “quote” but then they keep jacking it up. You feel like you have to go alone because you are already in… kinda like gambling… not to mention it’s your family member they are treating who any person would give anything to help. I want a refund of at least $1200- I do not believe it was fair or right to charge me over $1600 for nothing. The way they did it was unethical. Misleading, and unfair business practices. I have already filed a complaint with the AG office. I am an attorney and have never felt so taken advantage of. I had never been in a situation like that where my cat needed help and all they care about was more money and more money… surgeries cost less than 3k. Honestly- I wish they would get shut down so no one feels the feeling I felt. No or. Should be taken advantage of like that.
