      clowns.com has predatory practices and gives inconsistent and continually changing policies. I had given a $100 deposit for an outdoor event. I called to reschedule and they told me my options were to "reschedule" and pay $75 or to cancel and "open a ticket on the website" for a refund. I choose to just cancel and book again (not rescheduling). The rep was intentionally using confusing language and was being incredibly aggressive and purposely vague. I called back to reschedule and they told me I still had to pay the $75 even though I went with the cancel vs reschedule option. I rebooked the party but when we got to the end, they told me to pay $75. I said it should be waived and they said they can't book the party without it and I can "open a ticket". I continued to ask them to waive the fees and they said they can but now the time of my event wasn't available and they had to keep my deposit. they offered to give me a credit for a future booking but they know I can't book once the event is passed and they will keep my $100. I then offered to take the only times they had and they told me I had to pay for the entire event up front (over 100 hours in advance instead of their typical 48 hours). The rep kept stating it was policy while the other rep said it was 48 hours. the whole experience is vague and predatory and aggressive and extremely hard to resolve with them. They are intentionally changing the times and the deposit policies so I will give up and cancel and they will keep my money. I'd like my money back and I'd like to see some changes in their business practices and transparency.

      Clowns.com is the most unreliable, unprofessional and dishonest vendor I have ever used. Bounce house and inflatable carnival were delivered 2 HOURS late to my event 3/17/24. The contract specified the inflatables would be delivered at 9:45am (I even scheduled their delivery to allow for a 75 minute buffer of being late). They were not delivered until 11:39am almost 40 minutes after the 2.5 hour party had already started)! As the inflatables were the events main attractions, this was enormously disappointing for the over *************** attendance. Perhaps even MORE egregious, I have called over a dozen times to reach a fair resolution and have been given the run-around for over a week. Even after speaking to ****- who purports to be the *** of the company- agreed to a partial refund of $175 (25% of the inflatables charge since they missed 25% of the party duration), it is still 8 days after that call and still no refund has been issued. Each time I have called yesterday 3/27 and today 3/28 to speak with **** or another manager/supervisor, I am given the run around **** is out of town... all of management is out of the office all of management is gone until next Monday and most recently, all of management is gone until next Thursday. The company has no management with the capability of returning a phone call or issuing a refund for over a week (and 2 weeks from the original call with the ***)? If thats even true, what kind of business doesnt have managers available for 2 weeks??? I would NEVER use this lying and unprofessional company again and would caution others about this disaster of an experience as well.

      August 27th We rented a popcorn machine ($360) for our organization and we want a refund.. The attendant came in and never called us to let us know he was there. He proceeded to plug in the machine and just start giving away the popcorn without speaking to anyone from our organization. He never called my supervisor Rich although a phone number was provided. When we finally found out he was there we went over and the first thing he said to us is "where is my $20". He was only there for 30 minutes and did not have additional supplies at all. Our organization received zero benefit from this rental which was the purpose of renting the machine for our table. The issue is he was at the wrong place at the event he was suppose to call Rich from New Life who paid for the machine. He never asked for us at all. There were over 20 organizations there how would he know who paid for it? We did not get what we paid for because he was suppose to be at our table not some random location in the event. I was told **** would be called that was the point of giving the cell number. I was never told we had to look out for anyone or make sure we made contact.He was definitely not there for 2 hours because I arrived at 2 pm and immediately asked where he was since I called your company and wanted to see how it was going. It also says in the contract that the attendant was not suppose to initiate the tip conversation but he did, in fact it was the first thing he said despite the fact that he did not bother to even contact us.

      I called on 4/6/23 to inquire about party entertainment. I was informed that a $100 deposit was required to book a party for 5/12/23. The deposit was refundable up until 7 days prior to the event & certainly the same day. I called back the same day, 4/6/23, just 3 hours later, to advise that I would not be booking the services & was informed that the credit transaction had not been processed & was voided from their system. However, I was charged $100. I contacted clowns.com by ************* several times about having NOT received my refund to no avail. On 4/13/23, I received an email from the company stating that they would go ahead with the refund, but, to date, they did not refund the money. I also informed the representative at ************ that I never received a receipt for the $100 transaction, contract, invoice, or any documentation that I was being charged. Upon researching, I've learned that this company has received many consumer complaints for similar and other reasons.

      I booked a bounce house for my children birthday party on Saturday august 20,2022, I the bounce house arrived very late when the I was supposed to arrive by 2pm it arrived at 4:30, when the company came and Installed the bounce house they didnt give me any instructions on the bounce house, they installed and left after they left about 20 mins the bounce house started to deflate with 6 children inside which was very dangerous and scary for me and my guess, I called the workers that came to install the bounce however they told me that they are not able to come back and assist me with this issue, I tried restarting the bounce house on my own I worked for about ***** mins and started to deflate again this time I took a video and called the company the representative told me to make sure that there wasnt any blockage of the vent which there wasnt he informed me that they cant send anyone to come and help me or replace the bounce house, I was very disappointed with this situation, I called the company to file a complaint and get my money back and they told me that there is nothing they can do.

      July 23 2022 was my Grandson 1st birthday booked bounce house character etc $786 They was not active they barely moved around & Complained of the heat BUT THE WEATHER HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH US ITS A OUTDOOR EVENT they say they include magic show with rabbit etc None of that took place they came with water face paint that didnt last 5 mins Elmo ******* was dirty & to big the head wouldnt stay up on the small guy inside he came out for 5/6min the most then they left the party they rushed through it all definitely not worth the money all services wasnt giving & they kept asking if we submitted payment it was so fast my grandson never got crowned to meet **** etc WORST FOR HIS ************** CHARACTER THEY NEVER INTERACTED WITH OUR CHILDREN AT THE ***** NO MUSIC GAMES BUBBLES NOTHING THEY USED OUR EVERYTHING WE HAD LIVE RECORDING ALL MY CLAIMS CAN VE SUPPORTED THROUGH THE FOOTAGE I HAVE REACHED OUT TO CLOWNS.COM IN EVERYWAY NOBODY HAS REACHED OUT TO ME THIS MADE ME FEEL VERY USED MISLED & ROBBED OF A GREAT GIFT FOR /WITH MY GRANDSON 1st BIRTHDAY WHY WOULD THEY TAKE THE MONEY BUT NOT DO THE COMPLETE JOB & COMPLAIN OF HEAT ETC THE WORKERS PICK & choose who they want to interact with THIS FAMILY WASNT ONE OF THEM THE WEBSITES REVIEWS ARE BOGUS & THEY ITEMS CHARACTERS MACHINES ETC ARE OLD DIRTY & NOT LIKE WHATS SHOWN THE 3 workers stood together & chatted most of the little time they stayed definitely not the full package we paid for WE LITERALLY HAD TO HOLD **** UP EYES N ALL SUCH AN EMBARRASSING MOMENT

      date of service 6/11/2022 amount paid $559.00 They were over an hour late to my son's party, didn't even stay the full 2 hours I paid for, they rushed through everything and didn't even play all of the games that were in my contract. I am still waiting to hear back from someone about a refund. It's been a month and a half. Dory offered me a $150 credit which I denied because I will never use their service again, when I explained that to her she said she would call back about my refund and never did. I have submitted 2 support tickets and called multiple times. Every time I call they keep me on hold for 10+ minutes and no one ever comes to the phone, or tell me she is in a meeting and will call me back and she never does. it has been a month and a half. Worst service!!! I want my full refund.

      On 6/5/2022 We booked clowns.com for my son's first birthday party, a 3 hour party (from 1pm to 4pm), and the clowns were supposed to show up at 2pm. We get a text message at 2:30 saying that they are running late, they end up showing up at 3:15 - **** hour late. At this point there is only 45 minutes left to the party to which they were completely not ready for. We told them this was a Hawaiian theme birthday party, and one of the clowns showed up dressed as Mirabelle from Encanto and said "sorry I came from another party".Instead of apologizing about being late and getting started right away, they asked for the full balance to be paid, to which I refused and asked to speak to someone from management. They gave me the number to their office and a woman named ******* picked up the phone, most rude person I ever spoke to, and told her that even if the clowns started at that precise moment, we would have less than 45 minutes, she said "I don't care, not my problem, if you want them to start you need to pay the full balance" - I asked why, since we paid for a service for a 1 hour long clown activity, but I would only get 30 minutes, to which she repeated once more that if I didnt pay the full balance, they would leave, which they did.I asked for a refund, and she said "good luck" - and tonight they also charged my amex automatically with the remaining balance.Will be filing this as a fraudulent charge - BBB do something! This business is a SCAM!

      On May 28th 2022 I hired Clowns.com for my daughter's birthday party. I had to pay the balance of $277 before they would start and used the Venmo app which one of the clowns said would be easiest. After I pressed send to transfer the money, the clown said she still didn't see the transaction so I told her I would send it again, which I did. Right after I sent the transaction again, she told me it went through twice. I said, ok so just send the money back. The clown went on to say that the office is closed for the holiday weekend and I should call the office on Tuesday and would be able to get my money then. On Tuesday 5/31/22 I called the company and was told I had to fill out a form requesting a return and I would be contacted. As of today 6/3/22, I still have not been contacted and every time I call the company, I am transferred to customer service and no one answers. I have proof of my transactions.

      In mid-March signed a contract and paid a $100 deposit for an entertainment package for an event 5/7/22. A week after paying deposit and signing contract I was notified by the company they could no longer provide the entertainment and would refund my deposit. I was told **** days. It is not 5/18/22 and after repeated phone calls to the company and being told another **** days, another 3-5 days I still have not received refund.
