    BBB files indicate a Pattern of Complaint concerning billing and delivery for Big Apple Collectibles. Consumers are telling BBB about their experiences after buying merchandise online from this company. Consumers claim they are charged for the purchases immediately by Big Apple Collectibles, even though many of the items are reportedly in pre-order status. Most consumers say after the order is placed, the expected shipment/delivery date is continually pushed back by the company. In a number of cases, consumers allegedly become frustrated with the ongoing delays and request a refund from Big Apple Collectibles, only to be told that the company will not return the money but issue a store credit instead. So consumers are reportedly without the items they paid for and the money they were charged for them. On 2/12/2019, BBB contacted Big Apple Collectibles to request its voluntary cooperation in alleviating the underlying issues identified for a Pattern of Complaints. As of 3/08/2019, the business has not sent a response to BBB's communications and failed to address the identified issues of the Pattern of Complaints.

    As of late August 2022, BBB is still noting persistent issues in complaints about alleged delays and absence of product deliveries. A number of consumers continue to report that the expected shipment date for the merchandise purchased is repeatedly pushed back for a variety of cited reasons. Many complainants say they are unable to get a response from the company on a firm date for delivery or to their requests for a refund. To date, Big Apple Collectibles has accumulated numerous complaints filed with BBB which have not been answered.

      I bought a huge order of funko pops from this business, they say they are to busy to answer emails and no phone to call them.I bought over $260.89 worth of funko pops.,I have received one pop out of all of them.They say they can't do refunds and that I don't understand at all.They are scamming left and right just to say they shipped orders when they only shipped not even half the orders.

      I had pre ordered 7 funko pops from them back in march of 2022. They had an estimated release of Nov 2022. this transaction about 130$. I had tried to reach out a couple times in January, February and march to have this order canceled and I have always gotten the same email regarding high volume of orders during the holiday season and never a response back. I later received an email from them stating they were closing their doors and that we would have to reach out to our banks to initiate a cancellation if we wanted one. which i did and do. So i reached out to my bank. get my money back and here I am with an email for the pops, stating they have a shipping label and are preparing to ship.

      Order placed on november 4th for 5 Funko pops (Figurine), totaling 97.92$ USD (138$ CAD). Nothing has been received as of yet. I have an order number and was able to check the status here and there until march 2022, when it seemed the information for my order was wiped out. I attempted to contact the business by email, inquiring about the status of my order and asking them for a full refund is they were unable to provide me with information. I have received no response. As of April 2023, it seems the company has gone out of business and have put a message on their website suggesting us to contact our financial institutions if we would like to get a refund. I have contacted my bank and have been denied a full refund since I cannot prove the estimated shipping date that was provided to me via the business' website. I am unable to get any information about my order through the website. It seems like thousands of customers are in the same situation.My ideal resolution would be a full refund of the amount payed for the order.

      Ordered a product on 11/1/2022, as of the current date. Only updates are a moving date of expected items in stock. Have tried to email the company only to be greeted with the following email information. 2/20/2023 We are experiencing an unprecedented rush of orders for the Holiday season as well as a huge influx of products to fulfill many customers orders. For the next 30 days, customer support will be unmonitored, as we have moved all of our customer support personnel to the warehouse to help fulfill orders.This is unacceptable at any level. I do not care what their policy is, this is theft based on the sheer amount of complaints this company has.

      I placed an order, #******, on 9/3/2021 for $89.94 with this company and have yet to receive my order, though my card was already charged for the full amount when the order was placed. I understand that the company has experienced some uncontrollable delays with this particular item - my issue is not with that. The issue is that I know of multiple people who placed their orders for the exact same item AFTER mine who have already received their orders, despite the fact that the company has stated that they fulfill orders in the order in which they were received. This has led me to believe that my order may have been accidentally skipped and forgotten about by the warehouse. This is further supported by the company's "My Order Status" page, which allows you to enter your order number and see the order's status - order numbers appear to be sequential, and incrementing order numbers immediately following my own shows that ALL of the orders placed around the same time have been shipped out except for mine (the item was a high-demand exclusive to their website and I ordered just as it released, which makes it reasonable to assume that many of the orders placed around the same time were for that item). I have emailed the company 6 times now within the last month, asking for someone to check on my order with the warehouse to make sure that it hasn't slipped through the cracks, and the company has not given me any indication that they have checked to make sure the order wasn't missed. The first 4 emails, the company responded with generic, copy-pasted responses which did not address my question (2 of the generic responses were exactly the same, word for word), while the company has not even answered my most recent 2 emails. I just want someone to check on my order with the warehouse to make sure that the order wasn't forgotten about - I am NOT looking for a refund at this time, I just want to receive the item that I ordered.

      9-26-2021. Transaction: $93. Order number ****** I made a transaction and was told once all the items were received at the warehouse it would be shipped. Instead the orders said they were filled but the company has refused to send them. Months have gone by with no shipment or even an updated status I have asked multiple times about them and received the same copy and pasted misspelled response that it would be shipped and that the warehouse manager will express ship it but still nothing. I cannot receive a refund in full only a gift card which I do not want seeing as though l havent even received my first purchase

      I did a pre-order of two items at Big Apple Collectibles on 4/20/2021. The initial orders were to arrive in their warehouse in October 2021 and December 2021, neither would ship until both arrived at the warehouse (as their policy stated). The items arrival continue to. be pushed back another 5 months. I have been charged over $230 dollars and no items ***** been delivered. I just want my money back at this time. I am unable to dispute the charges with my bank due to it being a year after purchase.

      I made a purchase of ***** on May 28th, 201. I have received no product, only a series of responses to my quires saying the product wasn't available. Filed dispute with CC, they denied because they say I need to prove I didn't receive anything. As I said to them, that's why I filed the dispute. I don't know how to further prove I received nothing?

      I placed a pre order for an item with this company on 8-9-2021 and have yet to receive this item. Every time I check the shipping estimate it says one thing and then when it comes to that date it changes again. The fine print says they can take as long as they want and the only refund they give is if it's done within 24 hours of purchase. This item is now in stores nationwide and I can purchase it anywhere else and they have yet to even give me shipping or product updates. After doing research this seems to be happening with others alot.

      I pre ordered vinyl figures from this company and have since been informed of their policy. They take your funds immediately and hold for up to a year, they are refusing to refund and the estimated dates for items are well over a year away while other retailers have the items in stock. This company is dishonest and using pre order funds to operate/cash flow. I highly doubt they have the means to fulfill a lot of these pre orders. I want all of my money back. Attaching one photo but there are a lot of orders.
