    Good morning. I've been meaning to file this for a while but have been really busy. This happened on 2/8/24. The plumbing in my bathroom got really backed up and usually I can get it cleared myself. This time I couldn't so I believe on 2/6/24, I called "The Drain Brain" to see if they could come out to try and clear it. On their ****** page it states that they offer "drain cleaning, PLUMBING PIPE REPAIR and sewage repair (I will attach a screenshot of that). So they come on 2/8/24 and I sign the waiver for if anything happens to the pipes from them using the snake. Long story short, about 5 minutes into using the snake - it ended up putting a hole into one of the elbows in the plumbing. Ended up making a huge mess and that was that. I understand that I signed the waiver in case something goes wrong but that's not my issue. My issue is that they have plumbing pipe repair listed as a service on their ****** page. Before even calling, I was assuming that they would be able to repair what was damaged if anything ended up happening. The guy who was trying to clean them out supposedly was "making calls" to see if someone at the company could repair it. He ended up telling me that no one that works for the company is a certified plumber and that they won't be able to repair anything. So I ended up having to call my uncle who eventually repaired it for us after about 4-5 days after this happened which costed me even more seeing that the company charged me $139.32 to basically put me in an even worse situation that I was already in. I ended up calling them to dispute being charged for basically doing absolutely nothing. First person I talked to said he will have the owner of the company call me back (never got called back). Then I called again and talked to someone else and they basically said I can't do anything about it. All I want is the $139.32 back because of the false advertisement of them doing plumbing repairs.

    I sincerely regret Mr. ******'s experience and apologize for his disappointment. The erroneous information on the ****** page has since been corrected and I appreciate him bringing it to our attention. A check for the entire amount has been issued and will be mailed to him today.
