      i paid pinelawn for a cemetary plot about 10 years ago they sent me a partial refund and kept about a $300 balance i decided i could not use this plot it was out of my area they said they kept part of my payment in case i changed my mind i will not i need the balance returned now i am 71 with limited funds i have emailed them multiple times with no response the account would be under ***** ****** or ****** ****** my prior name i changed it back to my American name awhile ago

      Good Morning,

      On March 30, 2020 *** ******* requested to cancel her account with ********************** per terms of the contract.  According to the contract, Pinelawn will keep up to 20% of the total purchase price of Property(s) as sales, administrative, ministerial, and processing expenses for Purchaser's failure to fulfill the agreement.  At the time of *** ******* request, the account was cancelled, and she received a refund in the amount of $1,527.  It is my understanding that *** ****** is looking for an additional refund from the 20% that was retained by Pinelawn.  I have left two voicemails for *** ****** to discuss and I am waiting for her to return my call.

      My husband and I brought plots some years back, just for the 2 of us. He passed away about a year ago, and due to financial constraints, had to have him cremated. I too will be cremated.When I called back in January or so, I was told Pinelawn reserves first right to buy back the plots, and I would be hearing from them. I never did.As such, I contacted Pinelawn again last week, only to be told that they have no idea if/when they would get around to buying the plots back from me.They offered nothing whatsoever, I want this complaint logged against them, and I want reimbursement. Heck of a way they are running a business - lying to people, and I have read the other complaints so you see there is a pattern here.

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved yet, only because i do not have the check in my hands.  Yes, they have contacted me, and we are working together towards a positive outcome

      When i have the check cleared, i will indeed agree to this issue being resolved.

      This company has sent numerous unsolicited mailings to my address. I would like these to stop.

      Im consistently getting mailings, though I know its inevitable but I dont wish to be reminded. Its junk mail to me and a waste of paper. My **************** also get this ****.Make it stop!!! Please!

I sent an email and left a voicemail for ************ advising her that I received her complaint regarding the recent advertisement she received from us and that I have forwarded her name and address to our mailing house instructing them to remove it from all future mailing lists.  I left my contact for ************ if she would like to speak with me so that I could address any questions or concerns she may have.
