Decking was delivered when I was home with my 10mo old baby. Worker signed for it. My husband realized while doing the work that No Maintenance did not send the # of railings they should have. We ordered 8, only received 6. We only need 7. We also accidentally got hand rails ordered that we didnt want. Our fault for not checking sooner or relying on the workers to sign for and check. Also NM should have asked for a homeowner to check the products with their drivers present then. Again, myself and husband did NOT sign off on this delivery. This order was thousands of dollars and essentially NM allowed someone unauthorized to sign off for accuracy. But instead of working with us, and trying to compromise as my husband brought the order and a clear video showing that were missing 1 section of railing. they basically accuse us of lying to get free product!!! I am missing railing on my deck - they can come and see it for themselves why would I lie to try and scam them? And then not complete my own project??? I understand there are bad people in the world but Im not trying to scam anyone out of $150 for one section of railing when were spending thousands to build the deck. And we werent asking for anything back for the 2 missing pieces. Just 1 section that we ORDERED and PAID FOR to complete the project. Im totally disgusted that they would try to scam us and nickel and dime when clearly they did not bring the correct materials. So now one section of missing railing is costing me 3x the original price plus the cost of hand rails that they also wont take back whos scamming who now????? not only will we never be back for future houses - we will make sure to tell EVERYONE not to use your company.We now paid twice for the product we needed. Merchants error should not be the consumers hardship. This is unacceptable, We also had to waste our time and delay project completion due to merchant error.
