I had my car towed to *** Freeport to be repaired from a shop I have trusted for over 8 years. My warranty company did not like my trusted shops diagnostic of a bad injector on cylinder 12... Third party guy was pining for a holiday $100 bill which he didnt get .... Everyone was made aware at the *** Freeport ******* center to scrutinize injector 12. First, I dealt with ___, who was ridiculously unprofessional as he was mourning a loss too fresh to be back at work. He also smelled of marijuana. Then pot head goes on vacation. Days of no communication ensued... Wildly unprofessional I then get footballed over to some guy named ___ who treated me like i knew nothing. Freeport *** without a doubt intentionally misdiagnosed my car, paid the 3rd party inspector his holiday $100 to approve over a thousand dollars on unnecessary parts that are easy to replace. When I came to challenge the work, the "failed" components were conveniently discarded. I then get the call they needed to replace injector 12..come on, thats a serious misdiagnosis. BOTTOM LINE is this: *** A Techs dont throw parts at cars. Something is way off at this place big time. My warranty company would not cover the injector diagnosed by my guy due to the incompetence of technicians at Freeport ***...dumbfounding. I was without my car near 50 DAYS before i had a meltdown. I didnt have a car the entire holiday season. It is early 1/9/2023 I am writing this... I have been waiting for call back from service advisor since early 1/6/23. The ** was supposed to call me "ASAP" according to receptionist on 1/5/2023 and I have not heard anything from him. I had contact with the ******* manager when i got upset at service advisor. On 1/7/2023 I went to freeport Sales and met the General Sales Manager. ___ reluctantly offered to buy my car for $2000...he could see my pain and frustration. It was a bad day. I accepted the offer foolishly and took an $18,000 bath. Too much went wrong here, a complaint is warranted.
