On October 18th 2022, Morning star sent out a tech to pump out my septic. I explained on the phone there is an access point on the top of the tank which i had dug out prior to them coming. I gave them approval to dig out any additional dirt needed for an additional fee via phone approval. I came home form work and found that it was not pumped out all the way and there was a large new hole punched in the top of my tank. On October 19th 2022, I called and sent two emails stating "Tank has been punctured by tech. he used my pry bar to pierce the tank top then shovel to pry open instead of clearing the top of the tank to the bag where I stated the opening was. Now there are 2 holes in the top of my old tank and I am afraid it will collapse over the winter." "Sherry was given permission to charge for the tech to dig at that price chopper plastic bag was where I told her the access hole was. It was made clear where the access to the tank was. I told her he would need to clear around it to get the access hole, not to puncture a massive hole into the top of the tank. " Email was complete with photos. Email response back on Octover 20th 2022, was "Unfortunately, the owner of Morning Star (Lou D*******) just tested positive for Covid yesterday. He will follow up with you next week on this." Morning star no longer will answer my phone calls made from my phone number, they will not return emails, they will not reach out to me despite me attempting to reach out to them. On Monday November 14th 2022, attempted one final communication via phone, Sheri stated that Lou would call back, I let her know that if I did not hear back in 48 hours I would pursue further action into the matter. I expect this to be recetified asap as it has already snowed and I fear my tank will collapse under the weight of the coming snow.Business response

After review of the customer complaint form and review of my records I can help clarify what I believe has happened. There was some original confusion between the customer, Sherry in my office and the field tech as to where the opening in the tank is. My tech did make an opening to access the tank. That this time I was out of the office with covid and it took me several weeks to get caught up with my work, that is why there was a delay no communication for a period of time. However, on November 18th I had a field crew install a new riser and access cover on the Sicko's tank at no charge, this is a $500 value. This access cover will fix the problem with the hole installed by my original pump tech. On November 29 I had a pump truck reclean/finish cleaning(pumping) there septic tank. Morning star has repaired the problem cause by the tech and preform the service hired to do. I am sorry for the late response to fix this problem but like so many people covid has affected us all.
