1 starI have had the worst experience with them. I had a procedure done in November and did not get anything until March. They take a long time to process and everything that comes back from them I have to pay a lot of money. I am looking for new insurance. It always take a while for them to process. I had called and was told by one agent the doctor did not submit claim and then I called back and they had. Bottom line for me I will be looking into new insurance.Review fromJennifer H

1 starBuyers beware.If you're looking for the Benefits, Eligibility and Claim status department, ******-4408, 4411, 4404 do not work--they are the same line and lead to a black hole where you're on hold forever. Storytime:I was on hold with 4408 for 2 hrs and 53 minutes on 3/14; on hold with 4411 on 3/20 for 2 hours. On 3/13 I left two requests for callbacks with zero response. I can't even log into my online portal and need to get customer service for that, but guess which number I need to call to fix that... the hint is it ends with 4408...I tried calling the billing and cancellation department at *********** several times. This is the only number on the back of my ID card that leads me to a human being. However, they cannot talk to the benefits, eligibility and claim status department (4411, 4408) since they are different companies!!Called *********** and the *** transferred me to ***********. It's the same line! Kept on hold with no response at all! The customer service for this company is horrendous. They don't even tell you what number you are in the queue, or how long the wait is.This complete lack of care in customer service doing nothing but contributing to the detriment of the healthcare industry. 1 starI was told by an agent that this company handled my prescriptions and that ****************** would handle the medical part of my insurance. This was all originally said and done back last year, in 2024. I have given this company over $2,000.00, paying almost $179 per month, for ABSOLUTELY NOTHING!!! I received another bill yesterday for over $800.00 for some labs they show that was done back in Nov. 2024. I did not have any labs that I remember, in Nov. of last year. I am trying to contact them. Having issues with that as well. I want my money back as this compay totally lied from the get go. I originally purchased the insurance believing that I was covered and I have gotten bills from them. I purchased this through Marketplace, which is apparently where the lies are originating from. I have complained several times to them and advised I wanted my money back due to deceit. They have done nothing for me and they could care less that I was scammed. I am asking the BBB to step in to please help me and all of us that were scammed through Marketplace and then through them. I actually had *** and my co-pay monthly was zero, however this company has representatives on Marketplace literally LYING to everyone!! I am soooooo hurt financially and I need help to recover my lost money. They need ZERO stars!!!!!Review fromCarol B

1 starWould give 0 stars if it were an option. I wish I had read these reviews before I purchased my policy. The deceit and fraud I have encountered with this company is beyond belief and I don't know how they have not been shut down. From the beginning, I was lied to as I was told my policy was a year, covered pre*existing and preventative. I dropped my previous policy because these were the three prerequisites I wanted. Not until I was 6 mos. into the policy was I informed it was only a year policy because it automatically renewed in 6 mos. with my $5000 deductible starting all over. Depending on the customer rep * if you can even get them on the phone, or they call back * I was getting different answers to questions I had about my policy, coverage, deductibles, etc. It's a vicious circle when customer service tells you to contact 'claims' and claims tells you to contact 'billing' and billing tells you to contact 'benefits' * get the picture? I find out today (though I've previously spoken with all these departments) the reason my $31,000 hospital claim was denied is because I didn't honor the 30 day wait period necessary for coverage. WHAT??? Why didn't anyone tell me when I confirmed with the hospital it was in network, and the 'benefit' department confirmed it was in network? I will never be reimbursed for the wasted time I have spent trying to resolve all these loopholes nor will I be refunded for the fraud policy I was sold. I can only hope I can get some legal action to resolve all the claims this unethical business has denied.Review fromLiam P

1 star***************** that gives no written information about their plans before buying or after buying. The whole thing runs on "Trust me bro" sales and customer service.The "network of providers" is a massive lead sheet of numbers that most offices never heard of their sub-par providers, or the number doesn't go anywhere. This insurance company is saying that it's on the doctors to communicate with them, that they no longer take their insurance. Yet, advertising a massive list of providers to be "thousands", which neglects maintenance, and largely an inaccurate data set. Because they are using this "massive network" as a selling point, they are knowingly selling in bad faith.Review fromEmily C

1 starWhen I took this insurance out. I was told it was a **************** policy 70/30. No deductible, No Copay. I wrote my benefits down and repeated them to the agent. So there is no mistake on what kind of insurance they were selling me. It has taken over a nine-month period to get them to pay. Only to have them send me a $50.00 check. This was not an insurance policy that was to pay me. I specifically told them I needed ***************** This is like an AFLAC policy. I am going to contact a lawyer and see what I can do about this. Straight out lied to me. I talked to several people. Had to call the number that was for taking out a policy in order to talk to a person. Told me it was a health insurance and all I would out was the 30%. Biggest fraud insurance I have ever delt with.Review fromJerry M

1 starCompany is allowed to operate is unimaginable. They are the most unscrupulous and untrustworthy insurance company I have ever dealt with. It usually takes 3 to 4 hours to get anyone on the phone that can even begin to answer questions about a claim. Many days I have spent 4 to 5 hours only to be disconnected while on hold and had to start the whole process over again. When you do manage to get someone online, they can only go over five claims at a time and then you have to start the process over. Standard answer for every claim that it has not been paid because 1. provider didnt send in the required information. 2. You didnt send in a HIPAA form or see their insurance that was never received 3. Thier own. department ***** requested documentation yet. All three of these are *** answers they give for each and every claim . Three of these healthcare providers in question provided and verified the days that they submitted the information on more than one occasion. These people are pure con men and operate on purposely built system of confusion and passing the **** from person to person. I am filing a complaint with the *****************Review fromDenise A

1 starI sure wish I had checked reviews of this company before signing up with them. I would give them a minus 100 stars if I could. They are the most frustrating bunch to work with as they rarely answer the phone and may not call back if you leave a message. If you do talk to someone, the information given might be different from the previous person spoken to. They take forever to process claims and they blame the slowness on not receiving paperwork they have sent which is never received. Getting EOB statements is almost impossible, only given after a fight with them. I sure wish there was a more public way to expose them beyond doing these reviews. People should be warned beyond this forum. This company is very unethical at best and might be a scam in my opinion and wish there was some way to get them shut down. I have wasted over $5000.00 thinking I had health insurance. Instead Ive thrown money down a rat hole. ***** this company like the plague!Review fromAndrea M

1 starI see that others have unfortunately experienced the same terrible service that my son and I have with this company. We have been trying to resolve a claim since July 2024 on a service from Oct. 2023 when we were first notified from the Hospital billing office they had not been able to receive payment from the insurance and were unsuccessful in reaching them. 10 phone calls, 3 letters and 1 email later we received a letter from *** that the claim was being closed and denied as they had not received medical records. (Again,hospital billing could not get thru to IBA .) The agent today(unlike the one I reached on call 2 ) was rude from the start but did ultimately provide me with clarification of what they were missing for the claim. She reports they have never received any mail correspondence from my son. (We wrote and mailed together as he is a college student .) She was not only rude but inapproprite in saying you just have to keep trying. In short, you do not get the coverage you pay for and the company is almost completely inaccessible when you need to communicate with them. Hold times are usually over a hour ( today I was lucky as it was only about 50 minutes ) and you are lucky if they do call you back . I wish there were a way to alert other folks to avoid this company . (We got them thru the insurance marketplace.)
