CONSUMER: "DSR is calling people saying they need to tell them where I live texting and calling them daily asking for my SSN and verification of employment super illegal"
DSR RESPONSE:
Hi *****, our office was hired back in January regarding Check N Go.
After reviewing your account, it shows agreed to a payment arrangement, but as of today no payments have been made.
Current balance is $3,780.82.
Your account is currently undergoing employment verification.
The message you are referring to is a location message, which does not state anything about SSN.
If you called in you would have to verify last 4 of your ssn, dob, home address.
Here are the options for repayment if you are interested. I hope they help.
Balance: $3,780.82
Option 1: 24 month payment plan on full balance.
Option 2: Take 30% off, pay over 10 months.
Option 3: Take 50% off.
If you need further assistance, please call * *** *** **** and ask for David.

I asked for the company to stop calling numbers of people that are not associated with me texting them late at night and multiple times a day. I also requested information to be mailed or emailed to email to be proving they own the rights to collect from me since the original debt is not for this cost. I want a break down nothing has been sent to me. How do I know this will settle my case?Business Response
Date: 03/26/2025
consumer: "I asked for the company to stop calling numbers of people that are not associated with me texting them late at night and multiple times a day."
dsr response: we only reach out to 3rd parties to obtain location information or employment information.
consumer: "I also requested information to be mailed or emailed to email to be proving they own the rights to collect from me"
dsr response: I see we have mailed paperwork to a home address on file. I also see our administrative team emailed you paperwork outlining your payment agreement.
For additional validation or to ensure you are paying the correct people, I always suggest you call the originator and ask them where the account was transferred, you will make two calls and end up back with us. This is the only way to verify you are paying the correct party. Anyone can send you paperwork or an email. To be safe, always protect yourself and make the calls with no outside influence.
consumer: "since the original debt is not for this cost."
dsr response: if you review your original contract, it has a breakdown of how you will be charged. I imagine they charge penalties and interest because of the default and inconsistent pay history.
consumer: "proof I want a break down nothing has been sent to me. How do I know this will settle my case?"
dsr response: my admin team emailed you a payment agreement letter. But honestly the best way to verify this is to call the originator and ask who you should be paying, you will make a few calls and end up back on our phone.
Again I would love to help you resolve this. Please feel free to reach out to me directly **********************.com / *** *** **** / * *** *** *****

On today, i spoke with a guy that i believe his name was Henry for a company called DSR Holdings Group. We spoke briefly about a debt that i do owe. The problem is this guy refused to mail me the information i asked for. He then proceeded to to me he has been doing he job for years and knows when someone doesnt want to pay. Nevermind the fact that i told him i do owe the debt and do not mind paying it back. I just need verification from him of what company im paying. He tells me they emailed. I said thats false because i requested it by mail. I know my rights. Yes legally it can be done by email but if i request by mail they have to mail it. Period. Then he tells me he will mark it as refuse to pay and they will see me in court. Really? I never denied owing the debt. I just need by usps mailed to me. Im not just going to start paying a company that i have no idea who i am paying with zero proof from that company. Who does that?Business Response

CONSUMER: "On today, i spoke with a guy that i believe his name was Henry for a company called DSR Holdings Group. We spoke briefly about a debt that i do owe. The problem is this guy refused to mail me the information i asked for."
DSR RESPONSE: A validation letter was mailed to **** ***** *** ***** **** ** 36117 prior to collection activities. Please let me know if you would like a copy emailed to you. * *** *** ****.
CONSUMER: "He then proceeded to to me he has been doing he job for years and knows when someone doesnt want to pay."
DSR RESPONSE: we are reviewing the call in question, as a company we are not ok with someone saying that.
CONSUMER: "Nevermind the fact that i told him i do owe the debt and do not mind paying it back. I just need verification from him of what company im paying. He tells me they emailed. I said thats false because i requested it by mail. I know my rights."
DSR RESPONSE: The safest way to ensure you are paying the correct office is to call the originator, as them who they sold the debt to, call that office and ask them who they placed it with for collections. Anyone can email or mail you a letter. This does not protect you as a consumer, doing the extra leg work to ensure you are paying the correct office is best practice. Either way we mailed it prior to it being placed with a collection agent but we can email a copy if you would like one.
CONSUMER: "Yes legally it can be done by email but if i request by mail they have to mail it. Period."
DSR RESPONSE: We did mail it, if you would like a copy we would be happy to provide it via email.
CONSUMER: "Then he tells me he will mark it as refuse to pay and they will see me in court. Really? I never denied owing the debt. I just need by usps mailed to me. Im not just going to start paying a company that i have no idea who i am paying with zero proof from that company. Who does that?"
DSR RESPONSE: To best protect yourself as a consumer, you should follow the chain of title to ensure you pay the correct office. Truth is anyone can send a letter or email. It does not ensure they are the correct office. But doing the extra two phone calls would protect yourself more in this situation and other collection activity situations.
If you would like options on how to resolve your debt please reach out to me directly at *** *** **** or toll free at * *** *** **** and ask for David.
