Spoke with staff member TT conversation went well until she said what my balance was and all I said was hey I don't recall that being the balance. She gets nasty, hostile, and very rude, " well maybe if you stayed quiet and let me finish and I would of gotten to what it is!" Is this the type of people we are hiring for customer service?!

I am extremely disappointed with the unprofessional behavior exhibited by Atlantic Recovery Solutions. Despite my account being closed, I have been repeatedly harassed by an individual from this company, who incessantly calls my workplace demanding payments. This behavior is not only unprofessional but also disruptive to my work environment. It is clear that this one-person operation has nothing better to do than to harass professionals. I strongly advise others to avoid any dealings with this company.

The most unprofessional person i have ever encountered in my life! Said his name was Jay, very rude on the phone. Always trying to talk over me, and interrupted me constantly. Instantly wanted my banking information over the phone, and wouldn't send me a confirmation email for the so called debt I owed. Got ahold of someone there on a Saturday, they told me it was OK to mail the payment, and if I had any other questions to talk to Michael H**** I called back on Tuesday, got transferred to Jay again, and asked for Michael again and he said he was Michael H***, even though he introduced himself when answering the call as Jay. The only other person I was in contact with was on the Saturday, his name was Eric. He was professional, and calm the whole time we were on the phone. This Jay character was very rude unprofessional and even threatened to sue me if I didn't pay the debt. I refuse to talk to him anymore, I want to pay what I owe but request that someone else handles my account

Called and tried to have one phone number placed on a do not contact list and provide an updated land line. Michael repeatedly spoke over me. When I asked for the website he repeatedly stated “Atlantic recovery solutions” without specifying the .com ending. Accused me of lying about who I was but did not provide an example of when I lied. I asked why the account wasn’t displaying on my credit report and he wouldn’t answer. He said to his coworker “why do people think they can just lie and that we don’t know what phone numbers were dialing?” When he did get back on the phone and I said I didn’t appreciate being placed on hold and then not given information. I tried to disclose that I’ve had a stroke and my parents are helping me pay some debts I’m behind on. He talked over me so much I couldn’t. He said that the account he’d been calling about had been stated several times and that they’d sent mail “daily” to the address on file but he wouldn’t provide the address or listen when I tried to provide an updated address. When I called back to speak to someone else, the other women in the office were unhelpful. I finally figured out how to go online and make a payment. I also tried to register for an account so I can see the statement and how much I owe, which was never provided to me during the phone calls or text messages. When I told Michael he was unprofessional and embarrassing, he asked “what’s embarrassing?” When I said his Conduct, he again accused me of lying about who I was.

Carrie T******** was supposed to help me settle an old debt they had been harassing me about. Even went as far as to threat me with legal action? I called to settle letting them know we are now on one income since I haven't been able to work since giving birth and having a sick kid. Acted as they were moving earth and the moon to give me a 3 payment option. Gave 500 on the spot and was told I could pick my next month payment date. I never got it on the call nor email so I figured I would be able to call with payment. On a random Monday morning I see $780 taken out of my account. Over drawing me and leaving me with out any $$ for my kids medicine. I call Carrie to discuss and she insist she gave me the dates and an email was sent to me. I request the email with the agreed dates and never receive it. She states she didn't sent it so can't resend it. And goes on to mock me saying she remembers me saying "my husband would give me the money' if she remembered the conversation so we'll shed remember me saying I'd be looking for work as our one income can't handle this payment. I asked her to have a supervisor fo over our last call and was told i wouldnt be able to hear it anyways. I ask to have the agreement dismantled and ahe says i wouldnt get my money back for a while. So I leave it as is as i wouldnt get the money back in time to pay for more medicine this week anyways. Still haven't received the letter with the agreed dates that was supposedly sent and they are still going forward with taking money out of my account without permission.

A jerk called me today looking for my son and I told him he had the wrong number but before I could ask him what the call was about, he hung up on me. I called him back, but he didn't answer so I left him a message stating that it was rude to hang up on someone, when you dialed my phone and that it was horrible business practice. He called me back yelling that he didn't appreciate my message and hung up on me again. I guess he felt like it was okay to hang up on people but when it's called to your attention that its rude to do that, then you get upset. So I called him back because now I'm p***** you even called me especially since my phone is not the number of the person you were trying to reach anyway so when I say you have the wrong number, he already knew that and there was no need to be nasty. We argued and he said that he was going to report me to the authorities for calling him back. I called the corporate office to complain about this person and I spoke to the supervisor and pretty much got the same response. This company should be shut down.

Lynn and Sean M. Are two very incompetent and unprofessional people who work for this very unprofessional company. Lynn called me and could not get a hold of me, so she decides to call my husband, who told her I was not available since I was at work. Lynn had the NERVES to TELL my husband to call me on a three way call! I then called back to make payment arrangements and spoke with Sean, who said he was Lynn’s supervisor. I let him know I could make a payment of $500 now and the rest would be weekly payments. He said “ Why don’t you give $800 right now?” I said: “ If I had it to give I would”. He then asks: Why don’t you take the $300 from the card where it shows you have available credit? It’s not that you Can’t pay $800, you don’t want to”. ?? He doesn’t know my finances! I let him know we had just gone through a hurricane in my area in case he was not aware. After the payment arrangements were discussed and agreed upon (and after a long brief hold while he worked his “magic”), he comes back on the phone and I give him my card information for the first payment. He then says, “BTW, I am looking at your house online right now and it’s very nice with xx bedrooms. Let me ask you, is it all brick, all the way around? ‘ To which I answered yes, and he says “well you probably didn’t have any major damage done to your house from the hurricane. ‘ I let him know I felt offended of having my home and my privacy invaded and his attitude changed completely at that time. He said he did not have to take my payment and as a matter of fact, the payment I had agreed on was canceled and so was the settlement agreement. BUT he still ran my card and took the payment! This isn’t even the full story but you get the picture. I forgot to mention that they even called my son looking for me and harassing my son. These people are something else. They will not get my money even if it affects my credit.

Please review Florida Statute Pursuant to section 559.72 - Chapter 55 - Prohibited practices generally. http://www.leg.state.fl.us/statutes/index.cfm?App_mode=Display_Statute&URL=0500-0599/0559/Sections/0559.72.html Link provided incase you need a refresher on FLORIDA LAW. As New York’s Laws do not apply to FL consumers when attempting to collect a debt & I intend on pursuing legal remedy & appropiate action for the verbal abuse of debt collector Ryan B*****. Verified employee of this company & I also confirm with him & his affiliate that was recording the phone call that will be provided as evidence of his violation of FL Law in many sections of the above attached FL statutes.

Someone by the name of Ryan called my cell phone today looking for my father. And when i called them back, Ryab ansered the call and all i had told them was that i had gotten a call and that i was wondering why. He told me that he was looking for *insert name of father* and only then did i say that i was his son. I asked again what it was about and Ryan said that my father would have to "give disclosure because of a Law" but never said what type of law. And that "You obviously know what this is about" and hung up on me. After reaching out to my father, we both agree that the call seemed like a scam, since he doesn't even know my phone number, and i wouldn't be a good second number for reaching him since i live states away.
