Harvest power set up my system, handled the financing and seemed to have a good process. After the system was turned on, they gave me the enlighten app. I continued getting bills from **** after the system was turned on. **** insisted that the app given to me was falsely reporting performance. I questioned Harvest and they admitted that the app wouldn't report correctly unless I paid them another $400 for another monitoring device to be hooked up. After that device was set up, it showed me that the system was only performing to 30% of the need of the home. I still had to pay **** for 70% of my bill and then still had all of the loans that Harvest set me up with for the Solar. The Harvest reps I had, all no longer work for the company. One told me he would help me get someone to call me back and I have had radio silence. Today, the system is totally shut off, the accounts are in collections and I have yet to have a Harvest rep help rectify this situation. I am currently paying **** for the electric being supplied to my house. Nothing but lies, false reports and problems with this system that was sold to me.

Harvest Power has been in communication with the client since the installation was completed and has responded to their concerns about higher electric bills with the attached information and below message:

    " Hello ************,

We have performed a thorough review and have found your solar system to be working optimally and operating within the estimate of production. All panels are producing and communicating to the Enphase portal with no apparent errors. Based on the usage data provided at the time of sale, and the usage data collected from the consumption meter installed at your home on 11/21/2023, it appears that there is an extreme increase in consumption. Please advise if you have made changes in your home or added any additional electric load that *** contribute to this increase in usage. "

After a thorough investigation that included reviewing the client's usage both prior to and after the solar system was installed, it was determined that the client unexpectedly increase their energy consumption to a level that is higher than what was projected when the system was designed.  Based on this increase in usage, the client is now receiving bills from the utility that covers the additional usage above what the system can produce.  Meanwhile the system is producing as expected and the attached documents illustrate that.

It was the recommendation of ours for the client to confirm this information with the utility to ensure they are being properly billed.  We will continue to work with the client to provide a satisfactory outcome and ensure they are getting value from the solar system that was properly designed and installed for them.

    Thank you.

    Harvest Power.

I had the solar panels installed in my home on 1/11/2021 and thought that all proper paperwork with the city/state agencies was completed. I am now in the process of selling my home and just found out that the permit with the *** ********** of ********* is still outstanding and has never been signed off on. This was supposed to happen when the Solar Panels were originally installed and the company dropped the ball on this. This is now holding up the process of getting a closing date on my sale of my home and I have called the Solar Company several times and they had someone out to my home last week and took photos and I thought that it was already submitted to the *** only to find out today that they need to come back to put stickers on before they can submit to the ***. If I don't keep calling them they don't seem to be proactive about getting this permit done in a timely manner and I have a deadline that I need to meet for my closing.I am very disappointed to have found this out 2 years later and now it's like starting over again.

On August 11th I contacted Harvest Power because I received a $250 electric bill. I contacted the company made an appointment and nobody showed up. After email the person several times I tried another email on October 17th. Still with no response I emailed again on October 24th and got a response on October 27th. There was some pleasant dialogue with ***********************. I sent him a picture of the inside of our combiner box on October 29th that had a red light indicating something wasn't right with the system. In addition we had told them through emails that a particular panel had not been working since the installation, almost 3 years. On November 4th I emailed again indicating I had not gotten a response and *** responded. Stating " Enphase has noted the software update had no bearing on the microinverters production, and has approved a replacement, according to their information on your case, its already been shipped out to us." We voiced our frustration and *** escalated the situation to a supervisor on November 4th.On Wednesday November 9th we received an email from **** stating he was in the field and would review it on Monday November 14th. On December 2nd I emailed **** again citing the lack of responses. He responded saying it was entirely his responsibility and he apologizes. He sent another email I did not get, but was forwarded to me from ***. In this email he essentially said everything was fine on their end, they can install a new microinverter next week.No response about the faulty panel. I was told this unit would produce 105% of the electricity needed. I received almost $750 in additional electric bills that I had to pay in addition to the solar payment. Our house has IMPROVED energy use with all LED lights, energy efficient appliances, new siding, insulation and windows.

    Better Business Bureau:

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

Though there has been discussion about a resolution, they still to this point have not scheduled an appointment to replace the broken micro inverter, faulty panel or compensate for the loss of power over a 3 year period.  Once they schedule and fix I will consider the complaint resolved.

We have resolved the issue with the micro-inverter and replaced the solar panel as requested.  We still need to add critter guard to the panel we replaced and have been in touch with the homeowner and will complete this as soon as possible.

The solar system is operating expected.
